She definitely doesn't mind talking about them. She has done spots on the podcast, The Projection Booth, for Shock Treatment and Phantom. I was actually hoping she'd do some extras for The Evictors.

I have been wanting to watch Swamp Thing lately but I don't own it on DVD and the version on Netflix looks like someone used an old vhs video recorder and recorded off of French television. I couldn't make it through 10 minutes.

hey Cliff-- first of all thanks for all the great releases this year... every new announcement is ultra exciting.

Secondly, thanks for coming back and posting replies... fans of these moves can't wait for news and updates and it's appreciated---

My biggest question right now is about the awesome Vincent Price set coming out soon-----
if the set sells well, are their any plans or discussion about a 2nd set with more Price titles (like the rest of his Poe films)?

Right now Scream Factory is my favorite company. As a teen of the 80s this is my criterion.
Shock Treatment and Phantom of the Paradise are must buys for me and all my friends if Scream Factory does them. Those were two of the films that got watched a lot in my group, especially when we would get together. Kinda be that VHS tape that we would inevitably throw on.
There are so many fun 80s horror yet to be done and I gotta say I look forward to seeing what comes next.
Not sure who has the rights to MADMAN, but that one would be of definite interest.
Also have we ever seen a decent copy of Robert Englund's Phantom of the Opera, or one of my cheesy faves Phantom of the Mall:Eric's Revenge?

Just checking my amazon.ca pre-orders for the next threee months and I see that TEN of them are SCREAM or Shout Factory titles.

One pre-order is Warner Brothers, two Olive, two Allegro, two Severin and one Mill Creek.

So I have more coming from Scream/Shout than from all other studios combined.

+ 1

and they play a double feature of Shocky and Rocky at a rocky horror stage thing on the 1st of the month in Seattle. I went and there were a ton of people.

They are still so popular. Even my 15 year old students are into those movies, and there are a ton of them.

MGM released a good looking 16x9 widescreen DVD of Robert Englund's Phantom of the Opera some time ago, it may be OOP now.

It's not out of print. It can be found in, I shit you not, a 6-8 pack of Musicals. Whoever decided on that pairing is going to Hell...

Isn't it obvious why? And besides, be thankful MGM is allowing it to still be in print some capacity; no need to be picky about it.

I have an odd request that's only half serious and half wishful thinking. It's not a classic by any means nor does it really fit in with the types of movies Scream releases but I think it would be a great blu release if someone could get ahold of it:

Eight Legged Freaks

*prepares for thrown fruit*

Yeah I figured that... I just wanted to support the previous poster since he thought that maybe he was in the minority. Maybe WB will release it as a catalog title...
