Right? I love the site exclusives but not having any features, no mention of a new transfer and standard packaging for $30?! WTF.

Look at what Vestron (Lionsgate) just did with their new SNDN 3-5 release. Each film on it's own disc, hefty amount of new features and newly commissioned artwork. All for $11...

I understand Shout isn't even close to Lionsgate but they are they largest of all of the boutique labels. I honestly can't see an excuse for charging this much.

It doesn't really matter to me either way but it still costs money to have done which is why I thought it was worth mentioning.

Kino has released more BDs then Shout, in fact some of them are old shout titles. haha

Imagine paying $30 a pop for 8 Bloodfist movies. $240 is insane. They’re asking $50 for 7 Sonny Chiba or $80 for 7 Jackie Chan movies, but $30 for one Don Wilson movie? Come on…

Yeah… they sound fun but at $60 for both… if I’m wanting martial arts action flicks I feel like the UHD Police Story trilogy or the In The Line of Duty set is a much better option at around the same price.

Because it seems antithetical to loving the site exclusives, the entire point of this exclusive line is to drive up pricing without increasing value, so I don't understand why he'd love them.

Gonna wait for a possible sale, like Bluebeard. I'm fine with the exclusives in theory of course, but when you can still get two Corman films for 27, or a film with a poster and 2K transfer for the same, I'm not too keen to spend 30 a pop.

Films that should've just been wide releases is another matter.

Finally!! Shout is releasing the Corman produced Don "The Dragon" Wilson movies. I guess they are seeing the success Vinegar Syndrome is having with 90's straight to video martial arts flicks and want to get in on some of the action. It is honestly an untapped market with an abundance of films just waiting to be mined. I welcome this foray into Vinegar Syndrome territory, and hope Shout releases all Bloodfist films. The grand prize goes to the label that can get access to the PM Entertainment library.

It appears as if these releases are barebones. They should have given Don a call. I'm sure he would have happily sat for an interview. He seems to love talking about his old films.

I’ve never seen either but I’m getting an early VanDamme vibe from the trailers and looking at my VSA collection, these may be my kind of action flicks.

So 2 likely BD-25 discs for $30 a pop, which could have easily been released as a double feature? Plus, they don't even specify if these are older or newer transfers? They're beginning to be ripoffs with these.

Shocked that Evil That Men Do is still available. Had it been a proper Collector's Edition with a fresh scan, I think it would've sold out in a couple of days.
