I was a bit concerned when I saw Lizard In A Woman's Skin, a 1:85:1 movie, in full screen, but if it's the AIP version, then that's ok, it'll make a nice little companion.

But last I checked it had nothing to do with Bats?

Actually, it's not given what I've been reading though I'm disappointed it's not the uncut version on that same note.

Though I didn't make this pack up... Jeff made this one.
I hadn't noticed which version it was - A 1:33 dubbed AIP film would seem to fit in slightly better with the others than a straight-up subtitled giallo film. I had assumed as much about the selection process. Really, I view these 4-packs as reasonably priced appetizers, with the BDs as the main course. Or something like that.

Thanks for the info.
I know it, its Bad Dreams (1988).

Dreamscape is a Sci Fi with Dennis Quaid.

Absolutely love the Horror Marathon collection! It looks like its going to be a ton of fun and an epic way to have a fun weekend marathon of horror flicks. Props to Cliff and Jeff for bringing some lesser known horror titles into the fold thanks to a collection like this.

Totally agree - its too bad their post gets tarnished by the whiny its not on Blu Ray so i wont buy it crowd. I mean if they could afford or have HD masters they would do it.
I saw the Godsend when they first announced it and I cant wait to get this..the other titles I hope at least one of them I will enjoy...all would be ideal

How about a double Scream Factory feature blu-ray of these two?

I'm really only getting started with blu-ray, which is why I don't have much in my collection. Everytime the format changes, I'm resistent to rebuild my collection, but I still love movies of all kinds.

BTW, one of my favorite's was Romero's Martin -- I'm sure you guys have seen it, but I'd call that a slasher more than a vampire flick. Probably not obscure enough though.
You got good taste. I agree, Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things is a top 10 favorite zombie film of mine. Not perfect, but well written and has great charm. I hope this comes to blu. Same thing with Martin. Martin is a slasher film about a modern day vampire. I dig films that cross genres. CSPWDT is a comedy for the most part. If Scream got their hands on these movies, I would be so happy.

Not really Scream Factory related, but I just saw the most amazing UK thriller, from the director of the original "Ringu" film, later remade into "The Ring".

It is called "Chatroom" (2010), you may have heard of it, because I think it did pretty well in Europe. Its about a troubled teen that targets others in a chatroom he makes, and tries to ruin their lives, and ultimately force them into suicide. But it is so much deeper than that. Its really incredible.

It has an awesome tag line too. "Control. Alter. Delete."

It is not generic what so ever, and I it most certainly is not a 'regular' teen movie. It is just indescribable. It certainly left me with chills and I immediately went to Amazon to see that there is no Blu-Ray of it. But I did order the DVD.

I highly recommend anyone check it out that thinks the plot sounds interesting.

It really is a 'you have to see it' kinda movie. Its just that good. It is very rare a film has such an impact on me like this, I just had to tell some one at 2 am. haha.

This sounds great. There's an Australian Blu ray, so I'll have to check it out.

The trailer hooked me on an on-demand channel, and then I finally sat down to watch it and it was stunning.

Im sure you can find the trailer. Its just a raw film with some fairly big British names.

This set is worth it for The Vagrant alone.

Um, probably "Never Sleep Again"?
(Given that they were noting the connection of writer Chuck Russell crossing over to direct Elm Street 3, thus adopting the "illegitimate child" back into the family. And doing the best one, to boot.)

Dreamscape definitely has similarities with Nightmare. It's a pretty fun flick though, with a solid cast.

Thumbs up

It was said Schizoid was full frame...is that the original OAR ?
I was looking at DVD Beaver and screen comparisons...it looks like its widescreen ..anyway if I like the film Ill look for the best transfer..3 of them are going to be first time views, and it sounds like a fun set !

3 out of 4 aint bad. I couldn't watch more than 30 minutes of Fulci's LIZARD IN A WOMAN'S SKIN (Schizoid) so I got rid of the Media Blasters DVD. The other 3 movies in this set will be first-time viewing for me and I'm looking forward to it. I'm not going to obsess over THE OUTING being fullframe as it was probably made for the home video market and shot open matte. Overall, a fun-looking set

It was shown at both 1.66:1 and 1.85:1, which likely means a full-frame transfer is just open-matte.

Does anyone have the Blu of Dreamscape? If I recall there were a scene or two that was cut in the DVD version..I think the racy dream stuff on the train and maybe more...was it restored for the blu?
