I thought the bluray of pumpkin head was fabulous. One of the best releases in my collection. I can't see a 4k version topping that

The SteelBook was a 4K scan. I mean, yeah, it would just be that pixel count and HDR, but that's all that's left to go for these kind of movies. Pumpkinhead is one of those movies I would buy again - but hopefully they use this poster for the slip
[Show spoiler]

I wouldn't double-dip for Blood Wings, though I wouldn't mind if SF gave the two made-for-TV sequels a BD upgrade.

I'd pre-order directly from SF for that poster also, but i'd take this as the poster art as well:

I think the primary reason SF didn't do a boxset (besides charging us more) is that it wouldn't be complete. The franchise is unique because the television series directly follows the films, and even concludes several storylines. If they were to do a 8th film, it would be impossible for it to follow from the 7th without referencing the show. If someone makes a box set, I want it to hold the complete story.

Besides, the moment they made a new Halloween film that old boxset lost its charm. I like box sets, but what's the point if it's a active franchise. At least we'll have matching copies for the films, and they'll look good next to the slipcover releases of the show, remake, and Living with Chucky. I can't wait to see them all together on my shelf.

They could have made slipcases like those used with the Halloween 4K releases.

I get it, but I wouldn't mind for the time being (plus if it's cheap lol).

That set brings back some memories of browsing the aisles of Circuit City and Blockbuster

I think ill just end up waiting for all of them to go on sale, then just stick the discs in the existing blu ray complete set.

I didn't realize (or had forgotten) that People Under the Stairs was pushed back a month. I always go by the release date listed on this site. Sitting here thinking why hasn't Diabolik shipped my copy yet lol. At least I got a shipping notification from Shout for Endangered Species.

BTW, anyone know why Resident Evil Labs was banned? They are one of the calmest members here. Can't imagine them going off the deep end.

I like the Henriksen image from this poster. It's also nice to see the alternate title.

If you don't mine me asking, why did you get banned the last time? I was banned back in February for naming calling, which was supposed to be a funny joke. Then for a couple months for a sock account because I was ticked that someone took my name calling jokes seriously, if you wanted to know my reason. You can't call people twerps and bleepholes here...

Oh, sorry. I misunderstood. How many sock accounts are there? Did I start a trend? And how does one know for sure it's a sock account?

Just hang around the VS thread, you'll learn quick which ones are the sock accounts.

Pumpkinhead was a 4k scan from an interpositive as that's all MGM had. Shout did searches through the archives of StudioCanal and Filmrise and neither can locate the OCN. Shout don't do HDRs from IPs so unless the OCN pops up somewhere a UHD is unlikely.

Are they scanning an OCN for Cult of Chucky?
