Yeah I think they’re done doing the whole SDCC thing. With 95% of their releases nowadays being 4K upgrades of their previous releases, there’s probably no point unless they have any big hitters to announce like a NOES box set.

Presumably, the big MSRP jump for the SF UHD reissues from $36.98 to $44.98 means that they bit the bullet and finally moved on from the replication plant owned by the groundskeeper in Mausoleum.

I miss the suspense and excitement of SDCC announcements. In the early days it was thrilling just waiting for them to drop, not so much towards the final years but it was still event of the year.

The last one was the most exciting in a while due to the Paramount deal, but yeah, they were a mixed bag for a few years prior to that.

I suppose I was lucky my last few years of attending it, it was the beginning of the MCU, and it was Disney's attempt to relaunch franchises. (Iron Man's Comic-con teaser during Paramount's presentation 2006 was the buzz of the con; and the TR2N was the big news from the last one I attended in 2008) Honestly, as the studios continue to pull away from the Comic-con, which is already happening, I kind of wonder if Comic-con will survive. fitprod |

The pins are cute and all but they’d literally sit on my shelf in that heart-shaped box, collecting dust. For the price difference, I can pick up one or two more upcoming 4K releases, of which there are PLENTY.

I ordered the bundle for Black Christmas but it’s one of my all-time favorite films of any genre, and even then I went back and forth on it for awhile before caving. As cute as they are, I don’t see myself doing another bundle with pins… but I love that they give the option to those who collect or just want them!

I haven't bought anything from Scream sine Black Christmas UHD and it was scratched. I'd like to get My Bloody Valentine but not if its going to be scratched like some of their past releases. Have they fixed their problem with discs getting scratched during manufacturing process yet?
