As I understand it, Abby is with MGM, but concerns remain(ed) over Warner Bros contesting a release (IIRC WB may actually have the elements?). However, it's been reported that WB would not block a release, so the path is seemingly clear. The trouble seems to be lack of proper communication between MGM and WB, with everything legally sorted. With their relationships with MGM and WB, SF seem like the perfect entity to bridge the gap and get the two in the same room so to speak, so fingers crossed.

There was a rumour that Abby was with Criterion, but I just can't see it.

By the looks of things it's Ruby they're showing, not Abby.

Ah I'm dumb and got the names confused. Sorry for the hope

4 or 5 years back this screened at a Terror Tuesday in Austin. If I recall correctly it was from the only known print that still exists. It had some heavy damage throughout and had fully gone red, but the movie itself was a blast. If that truly was the last known print it would take some massive work to bring it back to life but I'd love to see it happen.

16mm prints of Abby are around and have been frequently screened at various theaters in festivals over the years. 35mm prints are a different story; not sure if any exist anymore.

I ordered Abraxas along with the Pack and Night of the Comet. I expected Abraxas to ship soon, but it's actually saying all three shipped. That has to be an error right?

Yes. They've been making mistakes like that left and right lately. My last order of Motel Hell and Creepshow were shipped separately but I got one email for both. Two different carriers were used for each. Some wonkiness going on for sure.

Ok, my fear is that Night of the Comet and The Pack won't ship in two months since the system says they already shipped.

You may want to reach out and ask them to adjust your account accordingly. In my case, they actually sent another copy of Motel Hell w/poster because of the original email. It was their mistake so I'm not going to bother sending it back. They need to get their stuff straight.

Never seen Lords of the Deep, any good? I have a soft spot for underwater horror/monster movies.

I'd like to get Lords of the Deep, though even with MST it almost put me to sleep. Really all of these would be titles I'd buy if I could spare the money. I'll probably miss them all.

The MST version is still on Netflix if anyone wants to check it out real quick.

At $30 a pop, they could be around for a little while. None of them jump out as must owns to me right now...

I guess it's just me, these are titles I would have pre-ordered if they were released to wide-retail. Yet I'm skipping titles like The Pack and Lost Souls. I'm out of tune.

SF should do bundle offers when they add multiple exclusives at once. Like, buy 2 save $5, buy all three, save $10

Man, would love to own Lords of the Deep....even though it pretty terrible. At $30, it's a pass right now. Too bad they raised the price on these exclusive's.

Every time someone mentions Mystery Science Theater whenever there's a new exclusive I always think, oh great, another POS. Lol.

I wish these were cheaper - I'd buy all sight unseen day one. I like movies like this even if they are cheesy and low budget.

School Spirit looks like a fun/silly film. Kind of hilarious the main character's name is Billy Batson, aka Shazam!/Captain Marvel
