We have our first October reveal

...Apparently Shout got the rights to Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey AKA the "Hey, Winnie the Pooh is now in public domain, see all the shit things we can do with it now!" movie. A Steelbook for the release is now up as a WM exclusive.

I was expecting ITN to license it out instead of releasing it themselves. Their home video side seem to died over the past few months, besides MOD titles.

Wish they would license out the rest of the Chinese monster movies they're sitting on.

While certainly possible, I'd still be VERY surprised if we get Jaws 3-D and Jaws The Revenge on 4K from Universal, especially JTR. I think our only hope for those two would be from a boutique label like Shout or Arrow (or another boutique that has a deal with Universal, but likely SF if it's coming IMO).

But hey, Universal saw fit to put out a UHD of Howard the Duck so I guess anything's possible? Lol.

That Winnie isn't nearly as bad as some make it out to be, but in terms of Oct expectations from this company, can't see that being well received. I don't care if they got pumpkinhead 4k but I'd like to see a night of the demons box set, or at least 4k of 1, and a new scan of 2.

Something Texas Chain Saw related showing up at Bullmoose. Could just be some re-release from MPI, though they already did a Steelbook as well, so who knows. Since The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) is with Warner, and it being the 20th anniversary, I suppose there is a possibility this could be a 4K release of that one.

That and The Beginning would be interesting. If it's true that WB don't wish to licence anything released under the WA brand, I guess a SF version of Leatherface is perhaps out of the question.

I would be over the moon if Scream put out an unrated 4K of The Beginning. Love that movie; easily my third favorite of the franchise after Hooper's 1 & 2.

Has to be the unrated cut, though. The theatrical cut would be worthless IMO.

Agreed on the unrated, it really sucks that the old US blu-ray only has the theatrical cut.

Extras are listed for the bride of chucky... no new features except 4k scan.. I don't mind 4k Upgrades but damn give us some exciting new extras... so far none of the 4ks or even standard blurays they've released have any new extras...
