Too new. I doubt Universal will come off of a license this quickly. Plus they have their own steelbook set on the way for the trilogy.

Re: 1978… I did honestly expect them to release a steelbook to cash in on the anniversary. Maybe they’ll do some kind of H45 Convention Exclusive.

I wouldn't expect anything from Shout but i'd be mildly surprised if Lionsgate didn't release something for the 45th anniversary.

Well considering Shout owns the distribution rights for the original film fully now, I wouldn't hold my breath for Lionsgate to do anything.

Thank you for this. Finally a release date, and also some hope it'll match the FUNimation releases save for 1.11. Hopefully it's not DVD height, I'll be annoyed if they do that.

GKIDS has only 3.0+1.0, they don't have the prior 3 movies. I imagine they'll eventually get them, but they'll probably have only the Amazon Prime redubs and such.

I love that they are using the VHS art for the new Pumpkinhead release. The slip art for the 2014 collectors edition was awful.

Is Night of the Demons 4K not a Collector’s Edition? It doesn’t say it on the slip art. Maybe it’s a mistake like when they didn’t put “Collector’s Edition” on the slip of Big Trouble in Little China.

Yeah, it will be a CE. A lot of the covers that leak aren't finalized yet, so it may be missing text like that, or have incorrect disc counts, etc..

I’m testing if they are using the Severin model. I sent an email demanding a PayPal invoice to purchase J8. Will update everyone once I get a response.
