You never once see Pumpkinhead in sneakers in the first sequel. You do in the original, though. Depending on the aspect ratio used, the guy is wearing Nikes in the first movie. It's even mention in the commentary.

I do get tired of people claiming that Pumpkinhead II shows him wearing sneakers when it's the original, with the correct aspect ratio.

I associate the sneakers more with Blood Wings cause of the horrible tie-in video game.

And yet you never saw the creature wearing them in Blood Wings, now did you? No, you don't. That's in the original. However much you want to trash the sequel, use something that actually occurs rather than a lie. Please.

I really hope Scream Factory (or anyone) grabbed Night of the Scarecrow from Paramount now that Olive is toast. That old blu-ray came and went too fast. I'm willing to bet they got the Witchboard sequels too.

Now maybe Terror Vision, Kino or VS can give us Pumpkinhead 2: Blood Wings on 4K since Shout seems fully uninterested.

Honestly, never watched Pumpkinhead, and always considered myself as someone that’s into horror flicks. That one weirdly always escaped me, and I’ve never particularly felt eager to dive into it either. Perhaps strange, but perhaps I require a proverbial nudge to convince me to finally dive in?

With Night of the Demons 2 and 3 being Blu-ray collectors editions, i wonder if there will also be newly commissioned artwork? If not, would these be the first Blu-ray collectors editions without reversible artwork?

It's a good horror film with a theme that demanding revenge out of anger and grief may not be the balm you think it is. Lance Henriksen is in top form as the lead. Pumpkinhead has a great character design, which I think was not created by Stan Winston, as he was busy directing the movie.

Jeff East, who played teen-aged Clark Kent in the 1978 Superman, is another lead. I think this is the only other film of his I've seen.
You can also spot a young Mayim Bialik for about a minute.

Of the sequels, I've only seen II, but I remember not caring much for it, even though it has Andrew Robinson in the cast.

That price tag for Evangelion Collectors is big. Especially when you consider the Blu-ray is $30 and reverse importation should will happen for the standard Blu-ray too
