They should add a scratch counter.

Example: Motel Hell now shows 169 in stock and the poster is still available. So, I am assuming once that 169 goes to zero the poster will run out and it will be replaced with a much larger in stock number?
Yeah, I believe that is all correct.

The next with the poster that is likely to sell out is Night of the Comet 4K, as there appears to only be 8 remaining:

I still think they should add the option to buy it without the poster. I got two giant rubber tubs full of the darn things!

This is a bizarre way of how they distribute posters. The Night of the Comet bundle shows 1117 in stock.

A single Ebay auction could get rid of those if you don't want them. You're likely to make enough money to buy several movies you want instead.

They're definitely making less posters. These never used to sell out so quick. I wanted the Night of the Demons 2 and 3 posters but if they're already sold out, whatever. At least the slips will have that art. Actually, I'm kind of relieved as I'll save some money if I buy these from either Bull Moose or Movies Unlimited using their August code.

I don't know. Is there a lot of demand for a Doctor Detroit or Dirty Rotten Scoundrels posters? And if you hit $600 selling on Ebay, which is surprisingly easy to do, you get a 1099. I don't want to deal with the turbo-charged IRS and have pretty much stopped selling stuff online. I'm getting close to just trashing them to be honest.

Many video posters aren't worth much. I was under the assumption you don't really collect posters and could sell them in a single auction as a bulk lot. If you got a few hundred dollars it would keep you below that $600 threshold (which does suck) so you wouldn't have any tax ramifications. I sell a lot on Ebay and it's a way to get some extra income and make space for other items I want.

I have about a dozen or so posters I don't plan on displaying - they're just sitting in their tubes collecting dust. I've taken some out to look at so they're not going to be pristine. If I could get rid of them in ONE package as opposed to shipping each one in their own tube and not worry about some OCD nut wanting their money back, I would make the effort.

I stopped selling on the bay because of the taxman. Don't need the headache and added expense.

This was me too until Congress made those changes. It was waved last year by the IRS but I would suspect they enforce it starting next tax season unless Congress makes more changes.

Is the $600 threshold for your total sales, or your total payouts (after eBay's cut), or what? I've never been clear on this. Also, I thought that if you sold something, you could subtract what you paid for it and only be taxed on the profit as income, and eBay doesn't know what you originally paid, so I don't really get how it would all work.

I haven't sold much on eBay for a bit, but I was thinking I would sell some stuff soon to prepare for all the upcoming releases and sales this fall. I really miss selling stuff in 2020/2021 when people were loaded with stimulus funny money. I made some shocking profit on OOP stuff back then. Not nearly as much now.

$600 total sales, which means what you are charging before eBay takes their fees out.
