I actually don't remember if I've ordered all the Shout Factory titles I need through October. I've placed a bunch of orders through various sites (none through Shout). Gonna have to do an inventory so I don't double order.

According to Shout, I've only placed one order this year and nothing since their inception in 2012. So not true. Between this and Pay In 4 not working from Kino, my business has gone elsewhere. Unwieldy websites: welcome to the 23rd year of the 21st century!

Now that they don't have to pay Jeff Nelson a salary and benefits anymore maybe they can redirect some of those funds to another makeover

For anyone interested, Shout just sent out an email that they are losing the rights to Grave of the Vampire on 8/21. It's currently only $7.99 and, as of writing this, there are 163* copies left.

*went back out of curiosity to see what it might have dropped down to and it's now actually higher than before at 184 lol.

My Chucky set arrived, and they did a much better job at packaging it. The cases had their own little cutout in the packaging and the poster tube was glued in its own compartment. No loose discs. Didn't save me though;

BoC - BD disc terribly scratched, 4K is mostly clean.
SoD - both discs have minor scratches
Curse - BD has minor scratches, 4K is terrible, rings all around
Cult - BD is mostly clean, 4K has minor scratches

Ironically one of the exclusive alternative slipcovers had a scratch on the backside art.

Planning to watch these in October, but I feel a little doomed with the condition of the discs.

Amazing, I ordered just 3 items during the recent Shout! Select sale, and of course Red Dawn is scratched up for both the 4K UHD and the BD. Good stuff!

Actually, scratch that. I thought it was a scratch going down Chucky's head and across his nose, but after closer inspection I think it might just be a weird strand of his hair. Can anyone else confirm that their copy looks the same?


I waited years to finally have a full slipcovered set. Now watch Universal screw it up by releasing Season 3 without one or as DVD only.

I enjoyed season one, but I don't think it gets better from the first episode so it's probably not for you.
Season two was mostly trash, and I say that as someone who likes Seed.

My Bundle hasn’t shipped yet and seeing how your order turned out worries me.
Instead of being excited, I’m now fearful of whether or not Krueger used my discs as turntables. I’m hoping for the best.
