Any chance Shout/Scream can acquire Bloodsucking Pharaohs in Pittsburgh?

Cliff, just saw a preorder for The Norseman/The Barbarians listed on Amazon for 8/27 It lists this as Shout/Timeless. Is this being released by you or is it coming out of your sister company timless? Also it lists them as widescreen, but since Amazon sometimes messes up..are both films widescreen?

Just want to know some info before I pre-order

Thanks and can't wait to see what is coming for the rest of the year!

Hey, Cliff - you like horror movies - how come you don't post your thoughts on stuff like the Texas Chainsaw remake or films from other labels on other threads? I'm sure most of us here would like to see what you think of some of these remakes and maybe even endorse stuff from Scorpion, Code Red and others. We're a community of horror film buffs and it would be cool if we discussed films in general. If not on the Shout/Scream thread then on a new one?

Sigh. Another DVD double-header.

There's a gorgeous widescreen HD print of NORSEMAN that runs on MGM HD channel. Can't see myself buying a DVD version of that transfer.

I know a flot out Collecter's Edition would never happen but any chance we might get Clownhouse as a possible double feature title? I know the history with it is bad but I enjoy the movie.

Also have these been asked about before?

SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT!** (From Scream Factory's Facebook Page)

Let's start the week off right with news that John Carpenter's BODY BAGS will be unzipped and presented on blu-ray from us before 2013 closes.

Didn't see that one coming did you? That's all we can disclose at the moment. More details to be revealed in July/Aug.

Some more suggestions:

Paperhouse (1988)

THE DAY AFTER/MIRACLE MILE Double Feature. Actually these 2 films both deserve standalone releases but they certainly go well together.

Looks great. Always love seeing Carpenter's stuff get released.

Scream should do JC's Vampires if they can.

I didn't see that coming. Who owns Body Bags anyway? The last DVD release was from Anchor Bay.

The last DVD release was actually from Republic/ Artisan. Great movie and glad to see Scream releasing this! Now the question is, will this be the R rated cut released in NA, or the uncut version I believe released in France. Quite a bit of a difference here and it would be shame if it was only the R rated version. Either way the Artisan DVD looked like crap so this will be an easy upgrade!

Here's the differences between the two cuts.

I think Showtime is the rightsholder.
