That is what I was thinking as well.

I hope, if they did get more that one title from Showtime, they got the Mila Kunis remake of Piranha from 1995.

Apparently, assuming they are the rights holder.

Someone in another forum said Lionsgate, but I think it is Showtime.

That would be my guess. This seems more likely to me than Lionsgate (Artisan) or Paramount (Republic) at this time.

Body Bags was produced for Showtime and was intended to be an ongoing anthology series ala Tales from the Crypt.

Hopefully Body Bags will be completely uncut. I have the Dutch DVD, which I think is the longest English-friendly release available. I believe the French DVD is fully uncut but it lacks English audio.

Huh. You'd think Showtime would be tough customers too then. Guess not.

Default In the Mouth of Madness

I've never seen Body Bags but I'm excited to check it out. Speaking of Carpenter, does anyone know if In the Mouth of Madness has a Blu Ray release planned? Watched it back to back with From Beyond last night (excellent release by the way!!), and I was thinking that it would be a perfect fit for Scream. Not Carpenter's greatest, but I think it has enough going for it. I believe it's New Line, so does that mean Warner has distribution rights for it? I'm actually surprised it hasn't been dumped on a bare-bone BR disc by now...

bodybags is great news. i would buy anything carpenter on blu ray. scream putting it out makes it a no brainer. i have a bootleg dvd of bodybags so i def need a upgrade lol. been a while since i watched it but i remember only 1 of the storys being very good and the others being just ok.

the one that will make me piss my pants with joy would be prince of darkness. i just love that movie. as for in the mouth of madness thats one of his movies that has grown on me over the years. would really love to see that come out on blu too

they're all good films but it should be mentioned that Witchfinder General is not at all like the others... Much more disturbing and gruesome

Warner apparently has no plans, as they are once again putting out The Exorcist in two more editions this year. That is 5 different releases, whereas the sequels have 0. I don't get it.

Luckily they are also doing House of Wax 3D.
