Is the $32.xx price point now the norm for Scream Factory UHD on release date?

Yes, ~$30+ is the more common pricing for UHDs now though you'll still find their Blu-rays in the $20+ range.

Just a theory, but NY Comic Con is this month, maybe they are waiting till then. Granted that’s half way through the month, but anything Toku while I bet they would wait till then given the long hiatus and it would be better to be loud about it at a convention.And maybe any horror-comic stuff like Spawn for example. Just a guess. I’m not even sure they will be attending, just assumed especially considering their “presence” at previous cons was ehhh.

With all the flooding, I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel it.

When a convict on a prison work crew accidentally starts a forest fire, an entire Oregon mountain community finds itself at the mercy of the flames in the rapidly shifting winds. In order to save several people who are stranded at a wooded lodge, firefighers and volunteers must battle impossible odds.

The 1977 made-for-television movie, Fire, directed by Earl Bellamy and produced by disaster film extraordinaire Irwin Allen just one year after these filmmakers collaborated on Flood, takes us back to the days when studios went all out for their prime time features. As with all Irwin Allen productions, the star-studded cast of actors is half the fun. Be on the lookout for Ernest Borgnine, Vera Miles, Alex Cord, Patty Duke Astin, Donna Mills, Neville Brand, and Erik Estrada. (A few years later, Borgnine and Cord would star together again in the series, Airwolf.)

The scenes of the forest fire rampages are quite convincing, thanks to capable camera angles and real location photography. The real sparks, however, come from the character interactions, thanks to the way that the tragedy allows people to work together in unexpected ways. I am disappointed to see so many lukewarm reviews for this on movie sites, because I find it to be an engaging and intense movie.


Once again, the Shout Factory video and audio presentations deliver in style, instead of just blowing smoke.

Off the top of my head, it's usually the first Monday of the month, when they do them.

Shout has had a stellar 2023 IMO. When I make my end-of-year favorite labels list in my mind, I think Shout will come out on top just going by how many of their titles I purchased gleefully. Sure, many were re-releases but many were top titles. Severin is second, but if they release Cemetery Man and/or Mountain of the Cannibal God this year, that will catapult them to #1. Shout will end the year nicely if we get Point Break and Tx Chainsaw 2003 on 4K.

Seems that The Ring Collection has the Shout Studios logo on the spine rather than the Scream Factory one. I wonder if this will be fixed before release? Or maybe it's the new norm?

Wow the Ring collection is a nice surprise, although I do wish the first just had a standalone release.

Glad Point Break and The Man in the Iron Mask predictions turned out correct .
