Have the folks at 220-electronics been able to work region free 4K into their new models? I don't have a 4K setup yet, but whenever that time comes, will it be possible to get a completely region free player?

I have a region-free 4K player from 220. It plays region-locked UHDs without issue.

Just got my Night of the Demons 1-3 in from Amazon. Happy to say, not a single scratch on any disc. I was worried because the 4K disc was loose in the case; but escaped harm.

Now, if Shocktober could start; I'd be quite happy.

My 4k disc was pristine,But the blu-ray has two light scratches.

Just put in my pre-order for The Ring Collection on Amazon Canada but it doesn't look like any of the other newly announced titles are available just yet. I'm chomping at the bit to put in my pre-order for Clue.

I can handle the cost of a new player and receiver. My expensive upgrade is a projector. I have a Sony now, with which I've been happy. I'd like to go up to the 4K equivalent or I've also heard good things about the JVC NX5.

a lot of people, including myself, have problems with that region free model skipping and freezing when playing 4K discs. I've seen people say it's only triple layer discs.

Code Red (RIP) licensed it from the producer, Henry Bushkin. I would image, the rights still reside with him.
