I don't have much I am hoping for this year, but The Exorcist III on 4k for $19.99 is my one, main wish.

I'm not sure if 220 Electronics carries a region free model...but the player you should buy is a Panasonic UB820.

You could also go with a Panasonic UB9000, but it's much more expensive. That being said, the 9000 has much better build quality and the audio options are better on that unit. For most people, though, a UB820 is the perfect investment.

Maybe it's the night shift guys down at the Mexico plant that are scratching discs. I've been very lucky so far and gotten the day shift (no scratches).

I have the region-free Panasonic UB820 from 220, but 220 have all the Panny models in region-free. I agree with the recommendations from mdhaus. The build quality of the UB820 is very good, but that of the UB9000 is outstanding.

Basically, the UB820 is the UB9000 with a regular build quality and without the audiophile audio options. I just don't have an audio setup to fully utilize a UB9000.
