I liked Jack's Back....as you stated with The Crush, decent thriller. James Spader always gives and entertaining, unique performance.

That would appear to be your order history tied to your e-mail address, and all of them are showing fulfilled not unfulfilled. I posted about it earlier yesterday here... my order history showed up as well.

For those who have contacted Shout! through their site, how long did it take for them to get back to you?

I contacted them on Friday (about the status of the stock of the Halloween III poster/vinyl set) and haven't heard back from them. I tweeted Scream Factory on Twitter asking about why the Halloween 1-3 poster/vinyl sets aren't included in this sale yesterday and haven't heard back from them either.

I apologize that I didn't think that the sale would be keeping them too busy to answer my questions. I've never participated in a Shocktober sale before till now.

3 business days for me. Tomorrow's a holiday (I don't know if they're observing), so hopefully you'll hear something by Wednesday?

Thank you for actually giving me an answer, kindly.

All I want to know if is I should get the HIII set sooner rather than later, especially since its down to 23 copies now (even though I'd rather not pay the full price.) I just find it odd that the sets were in the 4K sale earlier this year but not in this sale. Especially since other sets are included in it.

I hear you and I feel your pain. I always sympathize every customer who's been left hanging around by some "too busy" costumer service. That said, of course I do understand also the chaos that possible dominates in shipping apartment, but that shouldn't automatically meaning that "we're too busy at the moment to answer your questions concerning your order, please hold for such further notice". The information should move in times like this.

Hi this might be an unusual question. On some pages when it says that the "stock" is low or it's zero, does that mean it's automatically out of print? Or is it only going oop when it's in the oop page? let's say there are a lot of movies I want from the shocktoberfest and the page says zero copies left. would you still get more in stock at some point.

Are there any 80's horror films that is officialy going oop?

Thanks

Small order for me this year.

Haven't seen After Midnight, but it looked fun and it's just missed the cut in some previous sales, so I figured it's time. Would have picked up Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires too (lowest price I've ever seen it), but it's been out of stock since right after the sale started, it seems.

I already have Slumber Party Massacre and Halloween III, but those are two all-time favorites, so I'm very excited to see the picture quality upgrades. And I've always been curious about SPM2.

Four movies for $60 after tax... not too bad of a sale, Shout!

i think they are doing a certain number of titles for the sale. once they are down to 0 on the sale they are no longer a part of the sale. Not out of print.

Very nice picks. I think I actually enjoy Piranha II more than the first one, it's such an insane premise I think it's more entertaining than the original. And James Cameron's involvement just makes it more interesting and odd.
"The film’s troubled production, which saw Cameron fired and forced to break into a studio to edit the movie that still bore his name, led him to later disavow the flying fish movie as his first directorial credit." (he later on no longer disavowed it)
Dark Angel is an old cheap disc I finally picked up myself in this sale. Have seen it before, it's a really fun early 90s scifi/actioner that was probably filmed in '89 so it still has that great 80s feel, you've got Lundgren, an alien with killer flying objects, lots of explosions, and a cool urban setting. I first caught this on cable a long time ago, HBO, one of the movie channels, having no idea what it was. Revisited it a few years ago but never owned it. I think it has high rewatch value. Definitely should be watched at night, after dark, I recall a lot of night scenes.

Some good news for those who've been wanting their SF orders received before Halloween.

I got a shipment notification that my Shocktober order will be delivered on or around Oct. 17th. I assume many others who ordered the same day as me have similar estimated delivery dates.

they don’t have to tell you when something goes out of print. if a label does, it’s probably they are trying to get rid of copies before the license runs out.
