Not sure if the date for the delayed Ring collection had been communicated previously, but I just received the email below from Shout / Scream:

We're writing to let you know about an update to one of your recent orders.

The Ring Collection will now be releasing on 03/19/2024 instead of 12/12/23, providing additional time to the restoration team to create the best possible brand-new 4K transfer of The Ring (2002), as supervised by Director Gore Verbinski.

We apologize for this unforeseen delay.

Best Buy probably set their movies up well before they were supposed to. They'll fill in that spot on the 5th. The computer won't let them sell it early anyway.

Yeah...those Corman Exclusives used to be $24.99 but now they run $29.99, which is why I don't buy 'em anymore unless they are discounted.

well, the one's I ordered were $17.95 for double features (that are exclusive to their site) and I think that's pretty reasonable.

Especially after agonizing over whether to order a bunch of exclusive VINEGAR SYNDROME titles this morning.... I just couldn't justify the overall cost and passed.

Does anyone find the quantities on the exclusives seem to fluctuate? I am sure some of them had lower quantities a while back. I honestly don't care as I think they should continue selling them as long as people are willing to buy, but I just find it interesting.

I almost re-purchased another copy of School Spirit. Man, I really gotta keep track of what I purchase.

Had two in my cart but the site logged me out and now I can't remember my password and don't feel like going through the spiel all over again so I guess I won't be buying anything. Shout's site has become very anti-consumer.
