Just a week to go for THE BURNING and TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN! I will grab these early at a spot I know that usually has them out early in NYC. They charge a little premium but these are worth it.

I highly anticipate The Fog. The new transfer was supervised by DP Dean Cundey himself

X-Ray/Schizoid will probably be light on extras since it will not be a collector's edition, ala Terrorvision/The Video Dead

More on a "Nightbreed" release from Russell..

"..we are talking with a company.. everything is moving forward slowly. We have Michael Plumides helping us move through the maze. Mark Miller is talking with Morgan Creek."

Then Michael Plumides replied..

"Russell, you said you didn't expect anything before 2014, remember? Well, it looks like the distribution deal is moving forward. Our distributors are presently at Cannes but we will resume talks when they return - we probably will not make the announcement until the Fall. Also we have a channel very interested in the TV show. Stay tuned."

"And in answer to the question, "The Cabal Cut" is a separate film all together. Warner has no control over this film - the added footage makes it a completely different product."

All this comes from the Occupy Midian Facebook page.

But, "Terrorvision"/"The Video Dead" wasn't exactly "light" on extras, atleast in my opinion, for a genre release.

Ok, let me re-phrase:

Collector's Editions = chock full of extras
Non-Collector's Editions = several extras

Really excited for Body Bags!

I'm curious as to where they got it from? I would have guessed that title went to Olive.

I know someone here said Showtime, but I always thought it was with Republic (their logo is prominently displayed on the Artisan disc).

If they did manage to snag some Republic titles somehow, I'd love to see The Paperboy and The Invisible Maniac.

Republic's rights expired awhile ago

Can you say if you have more titles from the Republic library that may have also expired ?
they had some genre titles such as Monster from Piedras Blancas and a few others if I can recall..

I imagine "X-Ray" and "Schizoid" specifically will be lacking in extras a bit because of the fact that cannon did not really promote them that much so there are virtually no tv spots, radio spots, or trailers available (at least not for 'X-Ray'), and they might not be able to get a hold of the cast or crew on either.

But every film gets as much attention as it can in regards to special features, from Shout Factory. But the Collector's Editions do generally have more bonus content than their counterparts.

They do their best to get as much as they can, I'm sure.

A little surprised they didn't throw Christopher Lloyd's name on the "Schizoid" cover. Also has anyone clarified why they used the "X-Ray" title and not "Hospital Massacre"?

I don't know TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN but I just watched the trailer on YouTube and liked what I saw so I'll be getting this next week for sure.

Looking forward to checking it out.

I also wondered that. He is the most recognizable name in the movie, imo.

I think the master they received was for "X-Ray", which may be the cut they are using?

I honestly don't know, maybe Cliff could shed some light on that. Im just glad to have to film on Blu-Ray finally. I wouldn't care if they called it Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Valentine's Sucks. Lol.

If it weren't for the year of not being on DVD, this film would have reached classic status, and to many fans it did anyway.

Nothing overly cheesy about it, It is just flat out creepy as hell. For real.

You will love it.

well of course that's much more disturbing but for a Vincent Price film.... Witchfinder General is much more brutal than the norm for him....

Mark Of The Devil was the "torture porn" of it's day.....

Actually that's a good question, why not use his name?

What are the chances Scream Factory would be interested in releasing the Carnosaur trilogy?

Cliff may have shot it down, but I cant confirm that - but I read somewhere this was a no...
I still find it amazing how many times people ask about Prince of Darkness on Screams FB page and they need to do is read the page and see whats up...
Its great so many people want it, and I think it will happen and glad it wont be 3000 copies only
