I think Shout does good by offering the posters, but their prices, shipping cost and their poor customer service regarding damaged items drives me away from buying from them.

I think the last time I ordered direct was Night of the Comet, because the 4K with poster was mismarked at like 16.99 before launch. And before that was the Friday the 13th Box Set.

If they step up their game, improve relations, and give more incentives to buy direct, I would start.

If they do release Sleepaway Camp in 4K, I hope they fix the scene with
[Show spoiler] Angela in the doorway at night that did not have the correct filter over it so you could tell it was Ricky with an Angela wig on.

So sorry! It’s been updated. I don’t think it spoils anything as there is no context but I’ll try to remember using the spoiler tags when talking about scenes that have issues for any future movies.

The film is over 40 years old. Not sure if spoilers are really relevant at this point.

spoilers are ALWAYS relevant, imho. there are still people who have never seen Psycho, Citizen Kane, etc. every year is an opportunity for someone new to see these films for the first time. Every year new people are born

You've seen every film that's over 40 years old? Why do you believe there's some sort of statute of limitations when it comes to spoilers? As filmlover22 said, people are discovering older films all the time. Just because you've seen it doesn't automatically mean everyone else has. A spoiler is a spoiler, whether it came out last week, or 100 years ago.

I'm begging for them to finally announce the 4K of Assault on Precinct 13.

Yeah, I'm shocked it's taken this long. The restoration was completed so damn long ago.

I saw a DCP of it at the Drive-In last year, don't know if it was the new scan, but it looked great.

[Show spoiler] A girl named Angela stands in a doorway … it’s all been spoiled to h3ll. I honestly don’t think my post would even make sense if you haven’t seen the film. It’s about a frame and that they used one actor because another was not available and you could see that without the filter. It’s more behind the scenes trivia, not a plot point.

If you want The Blob 4K with 2nd slip and rolled poster, it's in the while supplies last section. Currently 186 copies left.

If we're throwing out wishes, I would hope they could make

a) Mother of Tears (Dimension, 2007)
b) Wer (Universal, 2013)

available on blu-ray by year's end.

And does anyone have any idea of how to get Sony HE to let loose of some of its "lesser" catalog. I'm thinking of horror items, such as The Cave (2005) and the The Rejuvenator (a.k.a., Rejuvenatrix) (1988), which they obviously won't be bothered to master and release themselves on blu-ray?

My Actual June/2024 in general Predictions:

New to Scream Factory 4Ks:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003 4K (it missed the 20th anniversary but it should happen)
Jacob’s Ladder 4K (I know it won’t happen, but dammit it should)

Potential 4K Reissues:
Assault on Precinct 13 4K (it’s been literal years now, where is it?!)
UHF 4K (why not the Bio-Pic was released in 4K, so why not this)
Trick r Treat 4K (self-explanatory)
Class of 1984 4K (also self-explanatory)

Guaranteed 4Ks for 2024:
In the Mouth of Madness (30th Anniversary this year, and it’s already received a 4K scan)

I would love all of these. I know they’ve been trying to get the Zombie Halloween movies from Lionsgate for a while.

June guesses yes I’m including more Warner Bros. releases as Shout Factory! has a deal with WB

The Hitman new to Blu
Hellbound
Rage in Harlem
Baby Boy
Greased Lightnin I think WAC will release this probably this year
The Fish that Saved Pittsburgh WAC will probably release this at some point
Krush Groove I also think WAC will release this too

More realistic guesses
Invasion USA 4K UHD I think it’s time this film finally gets a 4K UHD release
Night of the Creeps 4K UHD same with this one
A couple Chuck Norris films for the first time on Blu-Ray
Fluke
Greased Lightnin
Phantoms
Monkey Shines 4K UHD this is a very underrated film that has a Scream Factory Blu-Ray that is oop so why not re issue a 4K UHD with the Blu-Ray it would be sickkkkkkkkkk
The Town that Dreaded Sundown 4K UHD
Just less modern films please more films from the 90’s, early 2000’s, 80’s, and yes the 70’s.

I'll happily take a Children of the Corn collection. And while on the subject of Miramax/Dimension titles, I'd love

They
The Hole
Phantoms
