I would love to see Scream Factory pick up some of the Empire Pictures catalog (via MGM). A lot of good ones still haven't even made it to dvd:

Eliminators
The Dungeonmaster
Prison
Necropolis
Terrorvision
Vicious Lips
Robot Holocaust

Would also love to see tons of Trans World Entertainment (also via MGM) titles finally hit disc officially: Monster Dog, Night Game, Arena, Programmed to Kill, etc

Reminds me of watching a rainy Saturday afternoon flick on network television back in the day. Ah, the good ol' days...
OH YES! I would LOVE 'The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane' on Blu-ray! The DVD transfer is really good so a Blu-ray should look amazing.

There's a few others that seem like they're on the verge of going OOP. I don't know if this means anything or not, but I figured I'd point it out.
Another MGM title that recently went out of print, but is unlikely to be on Shout! Factory's radar for blu-ray redemption is Real Men (1987)
I'd have bought the DVD and called it a day because it isn't the kind of movie I need in HD, however it's 4:3 junk. So I'd at least appreciate a proper aspect ratio for this goofy buddy film.

Oh Hell Yeah!!!

Directed by Renny Harlin and starring Viggo Mortensen. I would love to see a Blu-ray release for this.

I really do hope it's MGM, it has so many great horror films! Just imagine:
Motel Hell, Deranged, Scarecrows, The Brood, The Burning, Dolls, The Night of The Comet, Haunted Honeymoon (hey, I like it!), Ghoulies I and II, Troll I and II, Burnt Offerings, Scanners, Monkey Shines, Swamp Thing, Prom Night II, Lifeforce, Edge of Sanity, Whatever happened to Aunt Alice?, Raw Meat, The Amityville Horror films, Poltergeist II and III, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, Dr. Phibes Rises Again, What's the matter with Helen, Whoever Slew Auntie Roo?, The Attic, Crawlspace, Strange Invaders, Breeders, most of the Vincent Price films, Tales from the Crypt...... Not to mention a lot of great unreleased films as: Eliminators, The Dungeonmaster, Prison, Necropolis, Terrorvision, Vicious Lips, Robot Holocaust and The Town That Dreaded Sundown.
Damn... now I really hope it's MGM.

Unfortunately, "Child's Play 2" and "3" are with Universal, only the original is with MGM. But, I'm sure with the upcoming "Curse of Chucky" we'll see the sequels hit Blu-ray within the year. It'd be interesting to see if Scream Factory would do a Collector's Edition of the original flick if MGM is in fact the studio. There library is so vast and incredible, I can hardly wait to hear what the first 2013 title is.

Hey Cliff,

might you guys also be interrested in some asian horror stuff?
Because in 1989 a sweet japanese haunted house movie called 'Sweet Home' was released and it's quit gory and atmospheric. The guy who made the make-up effects for The Exorcist even worked on the monster effects of that movie. There was also a game based on that movie, developed by Capcom, who would later re-use their ideas for their Resident Evil games. So you could put a tagline like 'The orgin of the Resident Evil series' on the box art
It was never released on Blu-ray or DVD worldwide, so even asian people would be interrested in such a release.

Here's a trailer (also includes clips from the game)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qO5xXRHMwEA

Just a suggestion ^^

You're right, I forgot about that. Yeah, I think its safe to say that to promote the new sequel they will probably release the sequels. I really do hope that if MGM is the studio, that they don't do a reissue of Child's Play. I mean, the special edition was pretty good in terms of features. Besides, I want them to focus on films that really do need the special edition treatment...

Yeah, I never understood why they didn't port over the great special features to the blu edition. I would appreciated a remastered edition....

Yeah I agree, although my imagination is running wild thinking what a custom cover art for "Child's Play" would look like.

I released a bunch of Asian horror titles when I worked at Ventura Dist and BCI and the sales have died off over the years.

Hey Cliff,

I know it has nothing to do with this but can we expect a S3 of Police Woman? Can't believe there's only 2 seasons left! Please, please releasing the remaining ones!

Thanks!
