Yeah, I wasn't expecting much but it was a lot of fun.

School Spirit, which is currently $14.99 as part of the Roger Corman sale, is down to 222 copies. It might be the next exclusive to sell out. Tomorrow is the final day of the sale.

Also, The Warrior and the Princess appears to have sold out during this sale

Hey man I'm Just going with what they give us. Just remake central.
As for non remake stuff; I'd be down for the following;

The Loved Ones (2009)
Attack the Block (2011)
Cheap Thrills (2013)
Blue Ruin (2014)
Throughbreds (2017)
Gremlins 2: The New Batch

Just in case my previous post wasn't clear enough...

Despite the fact that none of the following films are anywhere near the top of my "wishlist", I would still purchase ALL of them if they were properly released on 4K UHD:

Night of the Living Dead (1990)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) Theatrical & Unrated Cuts
Black X-Mas (2006) Theatrical, Unrated, & International Cuts

Ghost Ship (2002)

What way does Shout Factory handle pre-orders?
I wanna order Killer Klowns 4K & Robocop 4K, if I order them both together do they ship as soon as each becomes available or wait till both are available?

Time to pick up the Ti Lung box set -- this may be the cheapest it'll get. Also put in a 10% off code for a total of $146 after taxes.

Considering the fact that the 40th anniversary is this year
& the original negative was scanned in 4K at Technicolor
(according to their press release) for the 2017 blu-ray.
I reckon we’ll get a 4K UHD for Silent Night Deadly Night later this year.

The only question left is whether or not this will finally include the Uncut Version in 4K.

I see a scenario where the results would be;
Disc 1 - UHD - Theatrical Cut
Disc 2 - Blu-ray - Theatrical Cut (New 2024 Scan)
Disc 3 - Recycled Disc - Unrated Cut w/ SD Inserts

Given Shout!’s track record with alternate cuts in 4K, I'm not holding my breath we’ll see the full version considering the fact that materials were unavailable back in 2017. I'm open-minded tho, its been 7 years, a lot can happen in that time.

In a happy timeline the specs would be;
Disc 1 - UHD - Theatrical/Uncut Versions (via seamless branching)
Disc 2 - HD - Theatrical/Uncut Versions (via seamless branching) + extras

Yeah I caught First Omen at the drive-in last weekend. Was also surprised how good it was. One of my faves of the year so far.

I wish Part 2 could get a new scan if possible, I enjoyed it a lot more than the first film, and at least the existing blu ray for that looked great, could help if it had better compression though.

The original camera negative for 2 is long missing, so a new scan seems unlikely. Scream Factory's source for the blu-ray was a theatrical print. Unless the OCN or a better theatrical print turns up, the blu is likely the best we can get.
