Cast member Timmy Williams has confirmed that Shout Factory will be releasing a complete series Blu-ray box set of The Whitest Kids U’ Know later this year. Shout announced the show will stream on their service starting May 1st. Super exciting for fans of the show (like me) who've had to watch 360p YouTube clips since the show went off the air.

Judging by the comments where people ask if it’s a 4K release and he says he doesn’t know yet, I’m unfortunately skeptical about it actually being a Blu-ray release and sadly feel it may just be a DVD set with him having been misled/confused.

That's very true. It could just end up being a dvd set, I'm not sure what resolution Shout's streaming service streams at, so I don't know if they'll stream the show in 1080p or not. I do find it odd people would think that this show would have a shot to be released in 4K. Regardless, I hope we get a Blu-ray set and Timmy wasn't misled or given incorrect information.

It's sold like 350 copies so far in 8 hours

Unlawful Entry sold 500 copies within 8 hours

So it is selling quite well but hard to say if it will be as insane as UE or slow down drastically now the initial rush is over.

And them making money enables them to release more titles that we wouldn’t otherwise get. So a pretty small sacrifice for us.

I bought both new exclusives, couldn’t get the route protection to be added to my cart despite trying several times so hopefully these arrive in good shape, last time I ordered direct it took almost a month for a replacement to arrive.

I got both as well. Pretty sure I've watched The Getaway (or maybe I'm confusing it with the McQueen flick) but I'm damned sure I've never seen the Polanski flick. Yeah, these are expensive but I don't have other hobbies or vices so it's OK. When I visited NYC I was shocked to learn that smokes there are, on average, $13 a pack. And I know people who have no problem handing over their credit cards to bartenders to cover their tabs. At least with movies I have something tangible to show for my purchases and I can enjoy them multiple times.

They want to ship as many out as they can before the reviews start rolling in: "It's been DNR'd to hell and my DVD actually sounds better and the case got pulverized in the bubble mailer but it's great to have this on Bru-lay."

on 12th April and tracking info always says below since day 1 and I contacted them via support/mail but no response from them.
does it usually take this longer from pre-shipment label creation?
Note: This is to be shipped to Canada.

I revisited Night of the Creeps over the weekend and thought the Blu-ray looked pretty bad. Maybe I've just been spoiled by 4K. Thought to myself while watching the film how awesome this would look on 4K. This is a very colorful film but everything looked dated transfer-wise. I wonder what the holdup for an upgrade could be.
