I hope not. I sat through The Gate twice in the past year and despised it both times. It was dreadfully slow and I couldn't get invested in any of the characters.

I'd imagine that 4 and 5 would be paired in a double feature...
What about a Slaughter High / Cutting Class double feature...

Hopefully, its not Motel Hell, Squirm or Deranged. Arrow are releasing those.
I would love those three actually, Day Ones.

However they have been shot down, and I think we should focus on what hasnt been shot down. Or a whole new deal all together.

I really wish we had some sort of hint. This is all just blind guessing

Could you copy it onto here? I have no Facebook and, therefore, cannot read it.

I would seriously jump around the house for at least an hour if it was your Universal picks. Shocker and Prince of Darkness are on top of my list and Nightmares is pretty high as well... Two Nightmares favorites The Bishop of Battle and The Benediction (The Car with a truck...awesome sauce)

I wouldn't mind a Blu-ray of XTRO or ALONE IN THE DARK (1982).

Two titles whose rights are in question and or/the current rights holder remains unknown: FRIGHT NIGHT PART 2 and HELL NIGHT. The former might still be with Lionsgate. If so, then I don't see it happening unless Shout has signed a deal with them. Aren't they the sole remaining studio that HAS NOT licensed part of their library? Hopefullly they have seen the light and have let go of their tight grip on movies they don't seem to care about. HELL NIGHT might still be with Anchor Bay and they don't license out (yet).

Nope. I mean, I'm not "friends" with him, so maybe I can't see everything, but I didn't see anything "new".

Cliffs post " Had a great meeting today and was able to score some awesome future Scream Factory titles... What a great day....and then it took an hour to go three miles... Damn LA traffic .... Grrrrrr"

The first part was more interesting...unless sitting in traffic is your thing

Anchor Bay doesn't licence out, but they do lose rights quite a bit...
Demons 1 and 2, Hellraiser 1 and 2, Heathers, Day of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Evil Dead II, etc. Anything, except for the Halloween movies, is possible at this point.

You know what I love about this company? They put out what the acquire relatively quickly and put extras together. They don't sit on them for a couple of years and then give a bare bones release. No, no they put their all into each and every one. Thank you all!

Great point! I won't name some other companies that announce titles and then take forever releasing them....but they (and we) know who they are!

I have all 3 Subspecies movies from 88 Films and they have all played without having to change the region on my Insignia NS-BRDVD4.

I'd love proper widescreen releases of Cutting Class & Chopping Mall.

I highly doubt Wickerman is even a possibility if there is a Lionsgate deal. Wouldn't it be controlled by Studio Canal which would mean Lionsgate would have to release it?

The original Wicker Man is getting a steelbook R1 release later this year from Studio Canal.

They are a relatively new company (sub-label), so I doubt they "tried" in the past, but Lionsgate doesn't have a big reputation with licensing films. Cliff never seemed very hopeful about it, though.

Who knows, maybe they have very recently.

To clarify, you received a copy of Swamp Thing?
