During sales like this it may take up to a month for your items to ship depending on what you ordered. I ordered immediately on day one as well and my order hasn't moved yet either.

How long have delivery times typically been during the 4K sale? I ordered 6 movies last Sunday. It's now Friday and it still says unfulfilled on their website. I wasn't expecting to get them in less than a week, so not a big deal. But does unfulfilled mean that they haven't even prepped the package for shipping?

First time to order directly but I know this is normal for Shout, also placed three orders last weekend NONE is shipped yet.

Shout Factory now has a disclaimer running on their website for folks waiting on orders...

"Due to the unexpected volume of our recent sale, order shipment may be delayed"

It is very funny how much they hate Scream Factory, but some of their complaints apply, to some degree or another, to the labels they laud just as much as they do to Scream (price - Arrow, VS, Severin all tend to have equal if not higher MSRPS, but they do tend to have better sale prices) and schedules full of 4K re-releases (Arrow.)

Shout released nearly 100 new to BD Asian films in 2023 and for that, they have my gratitude. I know a lot of people give them a lot of crap, including those two guys in the video, but man, they have put some great films over the years and they continue to do so. The Getaway release was great. They aren't perfect, but overall they still do a lot of good stuff. Also, in the video they keep mentioning something was wrong the the original Nightbreed "debacle". What is that about?

They aren't perfect, but Shout/Scream is my favorite boutique label. Their output overlaps my taste in movies and TV the most. Lots of horror, not only big studio stuff but also more smaller ones too. Mst3k and Roger Corman stuff. Martial arts films. Films from John Carpenter and Joe Dante. The whole Shout Select line has a lot of comedies and other films I really like. I've also had good experience with their customer service too. I mostly wish they had someone who posted around these forums. Would be nice to have a more direct line to give feedback and ask question to.

Oh they hang around here and even ban people based on what they post. Sadly that video is pretty spot on.

Scratched discs, lazy packaging and weak sales. I avoided them for years but recently I can't, their sales are better, and their catalogue is probably the best along with Kino. I don't have experience with scratched discs yet!
