I sent off an email tonight to get disc replacements, and I bet they'll want pics of them, which is REALLY hard to capture. We'll see how much of a battle they make it.

This happens all too often with them and I'm surprised you haven't experienced any of it. IMO, it HAS to be something with their manufacturing process, either with someone manually handling and pressing the discs into the cases or something on an automation line that's treating these things too roughly.

I know I sound like a broken record but leave them a one-star review on Trust Pilot and don't change it unless you get legit help. They'll come groveling. Just don't call them $cumbag$, they no likey that

I just checked on the site looks like The Island with Michael Caine is going out of print better get this one while you can me included probably going to pick this up today along with The Ambulance, and crap I forgot the other title I had put in my cart.

I like Shout Factory. I've ordered MANY times from them and will again. But this is not the first time I've had an issue with their discs showing up scratched. Anyway, they ARE sending me replacements, something that also contributes to REPUTATION-- standing behind your products. And I do appreciate that.

Though, their response said they may start asking for video proof of skipping on scratched discs.. not sure if anyone has gotten a response like that before? Skipping or not, I don't want any scratched discs in my collection. Who's to say a future player will handle a scratch just as well as my current one?

Scream Factory remastered the first film from the original camera negative. The OCNs for II and III are missing, probably lost forever. It's more likely that a 4K for the first film will come out, eventually, less likely (though not impossible) for the next two.

Damn, they were not kidding about the delayed orders. I placed mine on the 12th and there's been zero movement. 12 days and still unfulfilled. I know they'll supposedly get shipped by next week, but jeez. Can't wait to watch em.

Interesting, for the best quality they would need to do a brand new scan, since that Blu disc came out over 9 years ago. The Carrie (1976) 4K is proof of this, it looks absolutely incredible and was a brand new scan for the recent 4K.
