at the end they ask you what you would be willing to pay for this yearly

I took the survey but didn't know what to put for the final question. Without knowing how many titles you would get it's a complete guess.

Yeah, it really depends on the membership gift/packet initially. The % off is nice as well. Free ship is cool, but I usually order enough for that anyhow. Would be cool if they give us a membership card that was numbered and maybe a tshirt or pick any one movie from the site~something like that

I'm not liking any of what I'm hearing.... it all amounts to paying more for specialty genre titles....

I'm not paying a membership to have the "privilege" of purchasing product....

Got the Killer Klowns steelbook from Amazon and the Blu-ray disc had an area with a bunch of scratches, so I emailed Shout with photos. This is the response I just got:

Thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately we are no longer handling replacement requests for damaged products purchased from third-party retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.

We recommend reaching out to the seller who provided your product, they should be able to lend some additional assistance.

The survey is meant to see what people want. Fill it out instead of complaining on here about something that hasn't even happened yet.

Agree. It's far too little info. The only thing I could do was calculate how much more I needed to purchase from them to get my Scream/Shout collection caught up with the 10% savings for the membership to be a wash for the year. I don't really care about anything it offers.

The one thing I did suggest is that it includes a small members-only bulletin board system where members can make suggestions for new releases/special features. That carrot could make the membership more enticing.

They send out pre-orders like 2 weeks early, so would this now not be the case for non-members? Or will it be like a midnight release where links are sent out in advance to members and then days later everyone else can access.

So in the 11th hour of physical media Shout is wanting to become VinSyn now when they've become more like Mill Creek than the boutique they used to be, but see the problem is VinSyn doesn't send people scratched discs and cares about their customers for the most part. Take a walk, Shout, you've been outclassed by everyone at this point, premium mediocraty

Shout/Scream have tried making extra money on shipping with their stupid package protection. Like we should have to pay extra to receive products in new condition.

Now they are trying some membership bollocks to squeeze more money? No thanks, SF.

Considering the amount of complaints on here, they should add in a VIP membership incentive: hassle free replacements on damaged discs and slipcovers.

I put in as a suggestion that they should do premium packaging for their more fragile boxes.

That is one thing I would happily pay extra for - some serious packaging in bubble-wrap and solid boxes.

Otherwise, a paid membership to Shout/ Scream is probably not something for me. Not with the continued issues with scratches, poor packaging and people's issues getting their items replaced.

If they had a no-nonsense customer service like the best, say Vinegar Syndrome, packed their orders well, and no or few quality issues, I would be much more inclined to consider the idea.
