We don't really know what, if anything, they're planning. I know some were complaining that SF had no loyalty rewards program like Arrow does, so maybe they'll be creating something like that.

Actually, it's about time all 3 Stepfathers got better treatment since apparently they're all under Shout's control now. Last releases were a pre-Scream Factory blu-ray for 1, the Synapse DVD for 2 and the VHS for 3. Crazy.
Part 3 had releases in the US on VHS and LaserDisc. International territories saw releases on VHS, LaserDisc and DVD. The DVD features the uncut version of the film and was put out by Intergroove within Germany. Region 2, PAL format.

I did the survey. I really hope the rewards program would be for everyone like other sites, as I've suggested to them before, but it seems like they're considering making it paid members only. What did people put for what you think it should cost? I put 150 since they're giving you $40 yearly credit, so you'd effectively be paying 110, for 10% off site wide, 10% credit back on purchases, plus exclusive whatever access.

You base it on your frequency of past SF buying. It's not a VS subscription, you'd be getting discounts on however many you chose to buy in a year. Higher volume buyers will yield greater value from any membership, whatever the starting cost. I can't imagine them going higher than 150-200 for a new untested program they're trying to entice as many people as possible to try.

I put $50 and even thought that was too much. Until they can prove that they are a premium-tier product I can't justify paying premium-tier pricing

That was exactly my feeling when it was first announced, but it came in very handy with 2 orders a while back. A disc with significant scratches... no jumping through hoops to get a replacement, it's a third party company that handles the problem... got resolved in less than 10 minutes.

That's what is most amusing about even suggesting charging a paid membership: "So wait, you want me to pay even more for my brand new (but scratched up) discs?"

Paid membership? F**k that terrible idea. Shout continues to find new lows.

Worst case, order a shit ton online from a US retailer to wherever you're going to be staying.

Each disc comes with its own unique scratch pattern at no additional cost.

I’m in the uk so can’t get the disc directly and just thought maybe a store somewhere near New Orleans would stock some SF releases so I can avoid the shipping bill lol

Order from Amazon USA, use a prepaid Visa card if you have trouble with your home account, ship to hotel EZ, I've done this in several countries before. If time is a factor get 2 day shipping or overnight. Better check your discs for scratches lmao. Or you can try and find a local there who knows where the local Blu ray shop is I'm sure they have one somewhere.

Now that Best Buy no longer carries movies, one of the only US retailers left that would carry Scream titles in stores would be FYE. You generally find them in malls, and I have no idea if there is one in New Orleans. Barnes & Noble might carry select titles as well. You can check their inventory online before venturing out of the way to a store.

I haven't strayed far from the touristy areas (French Quarter), but didn't see much in the way of media stores and the ones that are there are music based, not movies.

I think most of us in the US just get our Scream Factory titles online.

I've ordered quite a bit from them lately and you can expent to receive your order within 3 business days from the day you order for things in stock.

Personally, I would get the consierge hotel email and aware them that you'll be expecting a box about the day you'll be arriving and place your order accordingly. I'm sure they will take good care of you.

Crazy time of year to be going there. Hot and humid af! If you're a driker be sure to cool down with a hand grenade (drink). It comes with a little plastic floaty hand grenade on top.
