Doesn’t bother me, just done with them in general. they can ban me all they want, but they won’t get another dollar from me.

"Ummmm excuse me, we do not replace discs for scratches unless they are AT LEAST 4 inches long and .5 inches wide! You need to send us a video of your player, your TV, the disc, the disc playing, your HDMI cable. Also please mail (at your expense) a blood and urine sample to make sure everything is on the level. As soon as we recieve all of that, we will begin deliberations to decide if we will reply back. Please wait 4-6 weeks.

Sincerely,

Shout Factory"

It's really a poor policy not to replace discs sold at other retailers. I'm sure they've been bombarded with a lot of requests, so I can see why they might have added some rules before replacing every single one, but to stop replacements altogether from third party retailers is terrible. I mean, suppose you have playback issues after say 30 days from a disc bought on Amazon? You're pretty much out of luck for getting it refunded/replaced. Maybe some people will just buy directly in the future, but a lot of people are just going to stop supporting them altogether if they're going to have policies like that.

Criterion has replaced discs for me without even asking for proof of purchase.

Shout Factory seems to find new ways to continue to make them irrelevant to boutique movie collectors.

And they do their best to give replacements even if they are OOP. Had a lot of oop blue replaced due to bronzing.

I've had to contact them three times: once for All About Eve rubber nipple case, once for a faulty disc, and once for three of my WKW discs looking like they were sipped across concrete. Only with the latter did I have to provide pictures, but I never had to send anything back. But yes, I agree, they always take care of you. What I like about them most is that their customer service feels like you're talking to real human beings, not talking with people reading from a script.

Nah, it's terrible. Not Crazy Fat Ethel 2 terrible, but still terrible.

Ditto with the House of Wax remake. Like with Night of the Creeps, I've been holding off on getting the available Shout Blu-ray release as it may follow other horror/part-horror films that have had 4K Blu-ray/Blu-ray combo pack releases by Shout (I didn't get the Eureka Blu-ray release of Night of the Creeps as Shout's release has (or appears to have) more extras).

Saw the House of Wax remake at the cinema on it's original release and kind of liked it (wouldn't say I loved it, but I would like to revisit it). Partly went to see it because Elisha Cuthbert was among the cast.

That's a Shout Title, I'm primarily a Scream Factory Purist, but also Your welcome

[Show spoiler]I've been helping him with the list, but I just hope I'm not overworking him,

Should add Night of the Living Dead(1990), Dead Alive, The Decent , Vacancy, Identity,
Darkness Falls, Stay Alive, Hostel 1 and 2, Wrong Turn, The Hitcher (2007), Fright Night (2011) on that poll

Noticed Sorority House Massacre was at the top of the Going OOP / While Supplies Last page. Not sure if a couple copies came back in stock earlier, or if this is an early sign of another reissue happening.

This is in the unrealistic title suggestion category here, but if Shout could do a Blu-ray set/boxset of the Chameleon TV films that starred Bobbie Phillips, I would be one very happy camper.

Seems more like VS or Saturn's Core release.
