Looks like Shout's Steelbook sale is likely to start today. I'm seeing some reduced prices at their site.

I picked up the Halloween 4K on release, but held off on 2 and 3.

Finally got around to ordering them from Amazon, surprised they both came with the slip case. Figured they'd be long sold out by now.

Was hoping to see The Ruins get a 4K from Shout or Kino but I see Paramount is reissuing the film on MOD Blu-ray next Tuesday. There goes that.

Unfortunately in the case of Hell Night and The Final Terror, the original elements for those films are lost and SF had to compile theatrical prints to put out their BD releases. So unless someone finds the OCNs -- and who knows if they even exist anymore -- we're very likely not getting 4K releases for those titles.

Oh and for those wondering, SF still has the rights to Sleepaway Camp. Their BD is still fully in print and someone on the forum had messaged them about a potential 4K release and they mentioned that they're trying to locate the OCN.

There's still a chance. They put out a reissue of Face/Off right before the Kino 4K.

I'm curious what Scream has in store for October as that's usually their biggest month. Outside of horror I'm hoping we get Red Sonja, but that might be saved for later.

Boy, some tough pricing for the steelbook sale. I mean, unless I'm remembering wrong, I got Dances with Wolves steel for 10 or 12 bucks a little while back. Now it's 32. I also bought Hackers from Best Buy for 35-40 and it's on "sale" here for 40...

I literally only want that Perfect Blue steelbook as I already have a lot of the Studio Ghibli steelbooks minus the ones I don't want and already have that Millennium Actress steelbook.

Yeah, their sales page just included all Steelbooks from their site, so it includes some like Creepshow that aren't actually on sale.

We need TV shows to be added to the roster of website exclusives.

They have a deal with ITV and most of Gerry Anderson's Supermarionation shows have already been restored in HD and released on Blu in the UK, but not the US. Do the math.
