I remember seeing this and liking it. Years ago, though. Tenney also did Night Of the Demons.

I feel like Trick 'r Treat 4K has a decent likelihood given they did Night Of The Demons last year, Halloween 6-8 the year before, Halloween 1-5 the year before that, etc.

I think ...

Night of the Creeps 4k

Demon Knight 4k

Bordello of Blood 4k

Trick or Treat 4k

(A 2010 or newer title on 4k, like The Bye Bye Man, The Visit, Ouija Origins of Evil, or Annabelle

And possibly..
Drag Me to Hell or House on Haunted Hill or Silent Hill

I'd like to see Judgement Day 1988 from some label. The Ugly 1997, with a CD soundtrack.

While impressive, the chances of the person actually enjoying all of those films is unlikely. I used to have a completist mentality, but have luckily (mostly) gotten over it.

Funnier when someone has the entire Criterion Collection. Definitely impressive, but I bet they dislike at least 25% of them.

all films by a director? all films in a genre? I understand those. all films by a boutique label? I can't wrap my head around that. I love movies, not companies. Sure I would prefer some of my favorite movies to be put out by my favorite companies, but just to buy something because it is part of a label? But hey, that is just me.

I've seen countless yt collection videos where the guy goes through his collection one by one and there's a lot of "I hate this movie" or "this movie sucks" yet there it is on his shelf. Collecting just to collect and being a completionist is an ailment. I wouldn't want to be struck by that bug. And does anyone actually have EVERY Criterion title ever released since 1984? I know of at least one guy from Japan who might

i typically think of collecting labels as an attempt to shortcut the process of having a taste.

however, i imagine now we've an audience that has grown up (technically) with subscription models. labels do those now, more frequently than i recall.

i'm increasingly certain VS is now plagued with an audience that has determined it's the most credible place for good editions of bad movies.

some must be certain this means they've the most sophisticated personal preferences that makes no sense to most others.

have many people not noticed how quickly a taste in films invariably sends you from one label to the next rather than leaving you in the same place?

i believe in the risk versus reward 'one ticket, one price' model that causes the output being bought and sold to alter over time.

if i make mistake, it cost me that time and i will think twice next time ... if i get it right, i will look for similar and expect higher probability of success.

if the label makes a mistake, it doesn't sell as well. if it sells well (not just fast, to a limited print quantity) they make more profit.

as soon as you stop anywhere for too long, you have dropped out of the game and settled.

That’s also why I don’t always own complete movie series with rare exceptions. I have to at least like every movie to own them all. If not I’ll just buy only the ones I do like.

There was a Reddit user who had every DVD/BR/4K Criterion have released. It just boggles my mind. Nothing against it, people can spend their money how they want, but there is no way that person is doing it out of anything else but completionism. I used to rent EVERY DVD Criterion release when Video Stores existed, but I was finding at least half weren't my cup of tea. Some bad, some just ok.

There are certain things I'll buy out of completionism (Director's lesser works, mediocre sequels) but I couldn't see myself doing it for a label as there is no consistency.

As an aside, it's like when people with large collections sort them by Criterion Spine Number. The numbers mean nothing aside from when Criterion decided to release it. Absolute insanity.

Makes it much easier to add new titles to the shelf. As it eliminates the need to move titles around when you buy new stuff.
