My beef is that they've removed the tagline, which I don't understand. |

Definitely in for The Wolfman and Drag Me to Hell. I was hoping for a 4K upgrade of House on Haunted Hill '99, House of Wax '05, The Thing (2011) or even Carpenter's The Thing with the original audio restored. Also Poltergeist III. Hopefully Nov. or Dec.

Solid to great films from Zemeckis, Raimi, Romero, and Craven in UHD, from a company with a mostly flawless record on 4K transfers and HDR (Platoon a rare misfire). The bellyaching is hilarious.

Happy to see so many titles up for sale this October. Disappointed in the selection as there isn't any one title that really stands out to me as a show stopper. My wallet is happy as there isn't anything I feel the urge to upgrade from those listed, I am disappointed as I was hoping for something "big". (I was really hoping for Night of the Living Dead '90).

More re-releases/upgrades from SF and then you now have Arrow doing re-releases of Scream titles. We are in re-release hell.
![]() Not the Halloween I was hoping for, but so be it. |

david gregory from severin said something on the recent podcast. people will complain about upgrades, but then at the same ignore the new to disc stuff. it really doesnt matter lol. there are so many sales going on all the time, this isnt the worst. ill have more money for the criterion flash sale lol. dont mint death becomes her getting a 4K. its been eight years since it first came out. this is such a beautifully shot movie. |

Halloween usually delivers some surprises and a 'WOW' factor. No requested new to disc stuff and a glut of re-releases/upgrades is a disappointment. A nice 50/50 mix of fresh to disc stuff and upgrades would have been more well received. As for Severin, 70% of their latest accouncements can not be used an argument for people ignoring new to disc stuff. If smaller labels like FCE can release fresh to disc stuff like Heavenly Bodies and Paradise, a label with tons more capital like SF should be able to do better than what has been announced for October, imo. Not a knock on anyone that is happy with the annoucements either. I was just hoping/expecting to at least be a little bit 'WOWED' |

Dude, they announced only 6 titles. You will get people saying I am disappointed no matter what. People here are acting like they are supposed to announce 20 horror movies |

There aren't many "big" unreleased titles left to tackle, and whatever is left is either mired in legalities or controlled by people who don't understand or care about physical media. I feel like I post this every other month lol.
We've passed a saturation point and that's why we're seeing so many reissues. There's stuff that's unreleasable for whatever reason, the rest has been done ad nauseum. No doubt there's a lot of MIA stuff out there as well, as the sock account has proven with his extensive lists, but how much of that is doable? |
