But that is the case with many films. all of the Cannon and Empire films are through MGM. It doesn't mean they are any lesser because they are through a different company.

The Town That Dreaded Sundown's original artwork is perfect, even if the colours are a lot warmer here (I guess they were going for the 'sundown' thing). Scream would only offer something inferior in my opinion.

Image Entertainment has the distribution rights to Elivra!: Mistress of the Dark, through Lakeshore.

However, Shout Factory has the original Elivra's Movie Macabre series, already. If there was enough demand, we might see this get the bump to BD. But I majority of that set, if not all, was Public Domain films, so I doubt it. But it could make an interesting box set.

But I would love it if they ever decided to do so. Day one.

Default The hitcher

I would love if scream or shout could get the original 'the hitcher', one could dream.
Maybe some of these also:

The First Power - lou diamond phillips supernatural flick!
Pumpkinhead
LA Takedown- Michael Manns original HEAT tv movie
John Woo's once a thief tv movie
Night of the Demons
Return of the living dead 3
Retroactive - crazy time traveling/road/action flick with James Belushi

Any of these would be fantastic!!

As explained before, Return of the Living Dead 3 is with Lionsgate no offense. It's a no go.

The First Power and The Believers would make a great double feature. Both MGM so it should be possible.

Once a Thief looks to have been an Alliance production. While released on Apix in the US, this seems like something that will ultimately fall under Lionsgate.

Night of the Demons seems to be Republic Pictures II, but I'm not sure if it's the one that is distributed via Olive films' agreement with Paramount. (Often companies restructure and simply add a number to the end of their name, which has to do with the financial paperwork.) I do see that Anchor Bay released the DVD back in 2004.

On MGM's website it looks like they have the rights to "Night of the Demons"... And "Witchboard"

Oh, dearest Scream Factory/Cliff ... If you make these two movies available to own on blu-ray (preferably in collector's edition form) I will forever be indebted to you You know you want to do it. Let's make this happen. Especially since "Night of the Demons 2" is now available on blu-ray from Olive Films, and "Witchboard 2: The Devil's Doorway" will be coming to blu-ray later this year (also from Olive Films). They're going to look awfully lonely sitting on my shelf all by themselves

Don't know about Night of the Demons, but Cliff posted on Facebook that the owner of Witchboard didn't want to license it to them.

That breaks my heart. Don't ask me why, but "Witchboard" and "Night of the Demons" are two of my all-time favorite horror movies. Sigh

Oh, I see. Does that mean they only have the rights to play them on Television and stuff? So, the home video rights are still owned by Anchor Bay? Sorry, it's all a little confusing.
