I agree.

How about Tales from The Hood? that could use a blu-ray from them now that Universal owns the rights to it and it could have excellent picture/sound quality plus extras from the laserdisc and new ones like retrospective, commentary, poster and still gallery, trailer, TV spots and all that.

I finally gave in and bought the German import (under the title "ANGST"). Both of these are definitely Scream Factory material.
Same goes for me! I will take VHS quality on DVD-R for The Prey; especially if no quality source can be found. After watching the trailer, I'm wanting to see it very badly. I would love Final Terror too.

ive ordered every scream factory title(except vampire lovers) from amazon and everyone that was supposed to have a slip came with one. most were preordered but i did get funhouse probably about a month ago and it still came with a slip.

I was checking my tracking # for my order for the Burning Blu Ray which shipped from Shout directly and saw that it was being sent to the wrong address - in fact the wrong part of the state !
I cant wait to find out what happened here

I would do terrible things to have Witchboard on blu-ray; it practically defines "sentimental favourite".

I wasn't planning on buying CRIMEWAVE but got caught up in all the excitement for all of the great stuff coming up that I grabbed a copy. It should arrive tomorrow with 2 titles I REALLY want - The Burning and TTDS . The latter was a blind buy but I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

The 'burbs is definitely in my top 10... yet it is not my favorite Joe Dante movie...

I would love this to be paired with Matinee... though. I love them both but cannot bring myself to buy Matinee on DVD in its current state.
I'll buy it from you guys or on VHS...

This company does a great job and I can't wait to buy more of their discs this summer! Since they seem to have access to Universal I'd like to see The 'Burbs and Raising Cain (both films that got preaty poor DVD releases).

Nice man, The Incredible Melting Man has been one of my sci-fi and horror guilty pleasures since i was 6 when i rented it on video 27 years ago and i also enjoyed MST3K's mocking since i was 14, i can't wait to get it and should look/sound nice and those extras seem fine too.

I hope Shout releases MST3K's version hits DVD this winter on the 29th boxset and i would be happy since that never had a DVD release as well.

As I said before, I would love it in a double feature combo pack with Matinee... It would fit. The 'burbs is horror/comedy and Matinee is a comedy about horror movies.
A Joe Dante Collection (Turned down before, I know) would be great (Piranha, The Howling, The 'burbs/Matinee). Amazon Women would be great from Shout!

Matinee would really have to receive its own disc, especially assuming the 6-minute 'Mant! short' were 1080p. The French disc is 44 GB, and that just has Mant and a brief featurette as extras. Here's the DVD Beaver review.

Quick off topic question: Is Joe Dante as nice as he appears to be? I have heard absolutely nothing on the subject and want to know badly.

I got The Burning, The Town That Dreaded Sundown and Captain America today. First time I've ever got something before release.

Mine came from Amazon.

Was The Town that Dreaded Sundown supposed to come with a slipcover?
