Some of the early 2000s stuff was shot as hybrid digital and finished with at best 2k digital intermediate, the vfx in stuff like Silent Hill really aren't going to benefit an iota from 4k, if anything they'll look worse. Basically upscaling with some of those, the blus for all those look fine.

The reason none of the films in the Enter the Video Store are in 4K are because the source elements for all those titles are in shit condition and you can tell when watching some of them. Arrow literally tried their best.

If Arrow would’ve made any of those titles in 4K, they would’ve.

That's my reasoning behind it too. Arena is really rough looking but we're lucky to even get the film on Blu-ray. It's still too bad I'd rather watch the SD version included as a bonus feature though.

Robot Jox looks absolutely great, and even Arena looks perfectly fine to me (there is a framing issue for the credits if I remember correctly). I posted screen caps on the original thread here if anybody wants to take a look.

I don't know if this has any bearing, but Robot Jox was barely released to theaters (due to Empire filing for bankruptcy). That could mean that the surviving material is in better shape than the other films in the Empire set.
