If you order, and then cancel them, they usually appear in your Gold Box the following day - I've been able to save an extra buck on each Scream non-SE/Shout release this way.

Is this film really worth the pickup? I picked up every SF release except for the following:

DEATH VALLEY
THE ISALND
THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN

I should buy them just to support them as SF is doing a ****ing bang up job on releasing cult horror films that are lost and treating them with some tlc.
I myself am a horror movie nut but never even heard of these 3 films.

You might as well pick them up. Have faith in Scream Factory and their releases.

Cliff, in the future, when you do a non-CE release with alternate art on the reverse, as with The Vampire Lovers, would you consider switching the poster art and the photo collage from their respective sides, so that if one wanted to reverse the cover with the original art, they could?

I wish I could afford to just buy everything from Scream but I am limited to just buying the movies Ill watch again. I dont have the room ( or budget) to get every title since I collect films that I enjoy..and some studios are pricey like Criterion and Twilight Time...
When I do get a Shout/Scream title I am very happy with the presentation and Im glad they are putting films that I enjoy in HD
I did get Death Valley...but The Island I wasnt into it enough to own..Actually I wasnt into "Town' either, but that Price Set, Q, Melting Man, Fog, Howling, Hot Spot, Scanners II, Prince of Darkness, Godsend, Horror Show will be mine and Galaxy of Terror, Forbidden World, They live, The Nest, Stepfather, Humanoids from the Deep, Piranha, etc etc are all mine. They have released a lot of titles that Im a big fan of and a lot of titles I decided to check to see if I wanted them in my collection...
God knows there is more to come from Scream and Shout that I will get

I do, just don't know if the film is worth the pickup. Everyone and their mother heard of lifeforce, DOTD, the fog, Howling, ect.

I'm sorry if this has been asked but is there any chance on the other Phantasm films being acquired?

Say Cliff, can you consider Freaked for this winter? It's that cult 1993 sci-fi comedy with Alex Winter, Randy Quaid, Brooke Shields and Mr. T.

Anchor Bay's rights expired and you guys should be perfect for it since it's a Fox title and in a collector's edition with both new artwork and reversible original artwork plus some of the same extras on the blu/DVD combo with new extras like retrospect, actor commentary, interview with Alex Winter, TV spot and poster and still galleries.

Starz needs to release Freaked badly if their rights is there.

The 1998 cult adult animated horror thriller fave Perfect Blue could use a blu-ray/DVD combo from you SF since Manga's rights expired and is out of print. You guys with your digital magic can bring it back in stores as it could have extras like audio commentary from the producers with Japanese translation guys helping out to translate, both english dub/Japanese languages in subtitles, original featurette, retrospective with subtitles, trailers (US/Japanese/UK), Japanese TV spots, poster and still galleries and quality picture with surround sound on both English/Japanese tracks.

Even Child's Play 2 could make a killer collector's edition blu-ray with new art plus old reversible art with remastered picture/sound with extras like commentary, retrospective, interviews, deleted scenes, outtakes, TV spots, teaser/trailer, poster and still galleries and a bonus disc with extended TV cut.

Hey Cliff,

As far as I know you guys have always included all the previously released extras and I know you have announced the Vincent Price collection will as well. Just wondering if you can confirm yet whether the Amityville Horror collection will include the excellent extras on the previously released trilogy, including those found on the Amityville Confidential bonus disc? All the extras were just as good as the movie in my opinion and really added a lot to the collection.

Nothing from the fourth disc will be on our set. MGM's rights expired on those Docs.
