Looks like SF are shipping out copies of Sorority House Massacre 4K a month early. Two different members got shipping notifications already.

A couple years ago I sold just the slips for $110. They definitely used to be.

Hammer films are starting to get their UHD due with Scars of Dracula (1970) coming sometime (soon) from Kino, and Captain Kronos, Vampire Hunter (1974) and Four-Sided Triangle (1953), both from Hammer themselves.

So let’s keep the Hammer 4K UHD discs coming. Shout! please do your part. Thanks, ShoutFactoryOfficial.
Hey, maybe you can answer this. I know the Bette Davis film "The Nanny" is with Fox/Disney in the U.S. but does Hammer still maintain the rights in the U.K.? I have the French blu but if Hammer could release a set of The Nanny like the Four-Sided Triangle set (which I am definitely going to get) then I would SO happy. It is my favorite Hammer film...

I think Studio Canal has it in the UK. French and Australian blu-rays have Fox logos on them, which isn't a good sign.

I mean slips regularly go for insane rates. Usually double (or more) what the blu-ray costs.

I could never afford that life but I guess I'm happy for those that can

And Cry_Wolf (with Universal), of course!

Edit:
And The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake and Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, though I suspect Arrow might have those up their sleeve

What did they say about them?

EDIT: never mind, found it:

Does this mean, since Shout already has the rights for 5 & 6, the only chance is another label doing 4?

Should I cave and order one of the European releases? How do they look? It's like 80 CAD per title and I don't really want to pay that

They said they weren't working on those. Mind you, Vinegar released the second one recently so Scream probably lost the rights to 2 and 3. Hopefully that means VS have the rights to all the sequels. I'm still bummed Scream factory never gave us a box set like their Omen, The fly and Rec ones.

I was under the impression Shout owned the Howling sequels after III outright via their Timeless Media imprint. Maybe that's not the case anymore? In any case, the recent German releases all look great - for what they are. Certainly better than what's been available previously.

Oh God, I hope that's not the case. Been hoping for 4 and 5 to have proper releases over here for years now. If shout owns them but could care less about releasing them, that's quite annoying.

I'm not sure they ever had 4 or 7, since that Timeless DVD boxset always had 3 and 5-6.

Glad to hear the German releases are great. Do you think VS would be able to improve upon them?

Way back when Vinegar Syndrome put out the Amityville sequels, someone from the label said that it was between those and the (later) Howling sequels, so I was under the impression they have them.

Forgot about this. Hopefully Howling II sold well and they'll consider doing 4-6 on Blu-ray.

The Howling sequels will probably sell just as well as the Amityville set, if not better. These franchises have a large fanbase, so unless there's a rights issue or a 4K collection just isn't possible for some reason, I find it bizarre that we still haven't seen a nice collector's set.

How likely is another label to release House of wax remake/Ghost ship/ 13 Ghosts remake and House on Haunted Hill remake.

I don’t want to pick these up at £23 each if they are likely to be released by a UK friendly label.

Also with the 2000s remakes wonder why no one has done When a Stranger Calls or Sorority Row they are due some love right!?

Howling II has sold nearly 6000 copies of the LE and who knows how many standard. That should be considered a success.

which is an amazing success story considering the fact that the movie is awful.... (yes, I bought it myself solely because Christopher Lee has a big role)
