Shout should do a lottery where once a month, a forum member gets to pick a title (that they can get the rights to) to get a deluxe, extra filled 4K release in the future.

Different scenario. You're barely a fan. I'm talking about people who are die hard Halloween fans and strongly support physical media. Also, I don't understand your remark about Halloween "not holding a candle" to The Thing or The Fog. Are you referring to John Carpenter's filmography as a whole? Halloween is a bona fide classic that jump started a whole genre. Plus, it's a slasher movie. The Thing is a monster movie and The Fog has supernatural elements, same as Halloween. All three are different types of films. None of the three hold any candles to each other but each are uniquely superb in their own way

Watch it be Lionsgate that put a stop to it, because in a surprise announcement for October Shout are doing not only the recent 3 Halloween movies with CE upgrades, but all of the remaining 5 actually as they struck a shaky deal with Lionsgate who could exit the deal if things don’t go exactly as they say.
A person can dream, really excited to see the next couple of months though since this is the part of the year that normally has the biggest name horror releases from Shout/Scream. |

The only positive from the leaks ending is the Twitter and Youtube "insiders" will die on the vine now as they can't steal from this site no more

For September, if I'm remembering correctly it's 25 new releases? That's a lot. Guess we'll find out on MOnday/Tuesday?
