Our best hope for respectable releases of 6 and H20 is in Japan, where WB has the Miramax distribution rights, and has put out good releases of films like From Dusk Till Dawn 1/2/3, The Crow 2, The Faculty, Pulp Fiction, etc.

I hope the X-Ray/Schiziod double feature sells well! I would like to see Scream take chances with more double features, in hopes of seeing a movie like New Year's Evil on Blu ray.

I would like double features that make sense together, like so:

TerrorVision / Video Dead (never on dvd, tv related, no franchises)
Scanners II / Scanners III (never on dvd, scanners sequels)
X-Ray / Schizoid (never on dvd, cannon slashers, no franchises)

but I would hate to start seeing double features like (for example)

Children of the Corn part 23 / Hellraiser part 77

Motel Hell remake / Childs Play 2 remake

ScoobyDoo and the unnamed monster / Deep Throat XXIV

I want them to make sense and not pair films if one or both are connected to a larger franchise. It messes with the flow on my shelf.

I have Childs Play and Hellraiser double feature from Anchor Bay and

I put it with the childsplay films, now I have an empty space in my 'H' movies...
If I went the other way around I would have been missing a place in my 'C's

A lot of collectors are OCD and things like this dont go over well for a lot of them.

Then there are others who do not care...

He also does the theme, Neon Slime. It's one of the best exploitation films out there and it just reeks of sleaze.

Is that theme song available anywhere in good quality? Was a soundtrack ever released? I really love that song. It has a killer beat to it and just rocks the house down.

New Years Evil with Terror on Tour as a double feature would be fantastic!

Why would they use the same transfer? Warner would create a new 16x9 master for their versionfrom their vault elements, as I believe the older ones are non anamorphic and from the directors personal print.

How about Manhunter since MGM/Fox owns it? it should have both cuts with extras galore including retrospective and all that like trailers, TV spots, poster and still gallery, interviews, audio commentaries on both cuts, deleted scenes and all that.

I hope it gets released on iTunes, since it's only on YouTube.

I wouldn't put using an old master past these studios. Warner is one of the biggest culprits of recycling old transfers - they do it whenever they reissue something. A-list titles seem to get a pass sometimes but in the case of Alice, Sweet Alice, if it's going MOD chances are they will use an old master. I would love to be proven wrong for this one.

I don't mind if one film was from a franchise, as long the other was standalone. I cannot stand when they pair two films from two different franchises together or when they pair two sequels out of order. Ex: Howling 3,5,6 and Halloween 1,4,5. Or any Godzilla set!
Other ex: Prom Night/Ghoulies IV and Prom Night 1&2/Halloween 6-8

I also hope it does well - we need more slasher movies on Blu-ray! I commented on facebook how I loved the red titles over the Black and White on the X-Ray/Schizoid double feature and they wrote back that people were questioning that choice of artwork. I think it looks great.

Yes, more 80's Slasher's on Blu ray please!!!.

I'm really looking forward to this release and love the artwork. I think Scream are doing a great job on the double features. Terror Vision/Video Dead is one of my favourite releases from Scream and I'm sure X-Ray/Schizoid will be just as good.

That would make a nice Shout! Factory title...
