Figured I'd follow-up on the slipcovers on preorders as I asked for clarification on when their policy changed. Here's their response as it may be helpful for others.

We could no longer assure that slipcovers are included for any product as of March 2025.

The OCN is still likely lost. The Interpositive used for the Blu-ray was also lost, and based on the picture teased, that's likely what they found.

It isn't even in Disney vaults, I'm pretty sure it is in Italy. So, if someone were to sneak into the lab late one long weekend....

Disney could take care of 2 birds with 1 stone: Film Nicolas Cage stealing the OCN for Inferno and release it as National Treasure 3

OK, so the OCN is still missing so the upcoming anniversary re-release is coming from the IP that was used for the 2013 Blu-ray. I'm something like 40% less enthusiastic now but at least there's a 4K coming. Hopefully that IP is still in great condition and wasn't found in someone's garage in Florida in 110% humidity.

Shout Factory starting to ship out all direct orders inside of boxes is excellent news to hear.
Even more exciting is hearing the news regarding the supposedly missing film elements for Day Of The Dead (1985) and a potential 4K UHD release in the near future!
Now then, if Shout Factory could just finally resolve the continuous issues concerning all of these "brand new" and "factory sealed" releases arriving to customers with discs already scratched to hell, everything would be peachy.

Now that you guys are making mini miracles happen with Day of the Dead and The Golden Princess films, there is still at least one miracle left to happen...at least in the USA. Dawn of the Dead. The film has no physical or streaming release anywhere and it's literally one of the greatest if not greatest horror films of all time. I know Shout tried many years ago, but maybe things have changed now?

Either way, can't wait to see what's coming out, and still hoping Hard-Boiled gets a physical release this year in time for Santa.

Night Flier, Martin, and Dawn of the Dead all need US releases badly. Now that some of the major ones are coming like Fright Night 2, we need some miracles. Oh, and The Devils. That's another one that needs some sort of release.
