I have this with the slipcover in my collection. Probably the movie that scarred me the most as a child. I still haven't rewatched it yet even though I bought it 3 years ago. But they keep re-releasing this. When will we finally get ROTLD2 and ROTLD3 on 4K? Part 3 is criminally under rated. I really like it.

It looks like Shout did the 2K of Part II several years ago. And Lionsgate did the 2k of Part III near the same time.

2 is the bastard child of the trilogy (4 and 5 don't exist to me). I love all 3.

I'd hope Lionsgate does a 4K of Part 3 with the newly found work print cut as an extra on blu. And while I hope Shout does part 2, I know it's a longshot.

I like 2. I probably watched it more than 1. Just because it was easier for me to watch. Didn't have the tar man, or the half bodied female which both freaked me out. Though it does have the huge fat tarman with his face in the flashlight proclaiming slowly "I want. . . your. . . BRAINS!". Yeah I don't think anything after 3 is any good. But I like all 3 of the Trilogy, and even though 1 still scares me I'll admit it is the best of the bunch. Shout released 1 and 2 as blus at the same time and I'd really like to get a nice 4K matching set to go with my part 1.

I find it fascinating that Return of the Living Dead could be genuinely frightening to someone. I suppose if you're a small child though it could be scary.

Next up at 9:30 pm is the world premiere of Scream Factory’s long-anticipated restoration of DAY OF THE DEAD in 4K. In addition, Vidiots will host a Scream Factory pop-up store featuring some of the imprint’s most popular releases as well as photo opportunities. @Shout!, while you're here, I think you should consider start putting out more TV show titles on DVD/Blu. You have the deals with Universal, ITV, MGM, and Paramount to make something happen and not to discredit Mill Creek's great efforts, but people are willing to pay extra if it means proper releases of their favorite shows (with restored transfers and extras that explores the making of the shows).

You could put out these titles for example:

-The Loud House Seasons 4-onward
-The Prisoner
-My Three Sons
-Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (plus the movie)
-Spitting Image
-Upstairs, Downstairs
-UFO
-The Secret Service
-Amen

And now that you're intertwined with FilmRise now, you can even (re)release The Dick Van Dyke Show and That Girl.

Also, consider doing this title with Warner for December (16th); TMNT (2007).
