if a movie scarred you as a child, those memories can be very frightening. And I mean SCAR, not scare. Now granted I've rewatched another movie that scared me as a child and it didn't bother me one bit so perhaps the same will be true with ROTLD. Like I saw these movies when I was like 8 or so years old. Imagine being 8 and watching a half torn about green zombie woman wailing "brrraaaaaiins brains brains brraaains. And telling you eating them makes the pain go away".

I generally hate horror-comedies, but there are exceptions and this is one of them. For one thing, I've always found this to have some genuinely creepy moments and a pretty bleak ending. I could totally understand someone finding this scary. One of my all time faves.

Indeed, it's a horror legend and masterpiece. The first half has genuine laugh out loud moments.

I think it's possible, and the Birdcage is actually a pretty good movie, BUT I would be very disappointed if it's not Hardboiled as it's literally possibly the best action film of all time and has needed a good US release forever.

Just found out Shout has the film Stander (2003) or at least has it on streaming. This is a great one and really hope it gets a physical release at some point.

Oh, Shout will for sure release Hard Boiled, but the question is when. Yes, it's better than Lady Terminator. It's honestly one of my favorite films and outside maybe The Matrix it's my favorite action film.
