Sounds good, thanks for reassuring my purchase. I like everything I have seen by Coscarellii, even his coming of age Halloween film "Kenny and Co. ". I just wish he would finish off the Phantasm series!

Another Phantasm would be great, but (unlike some) I thought that the ending of OblIVion was perfect and chilling. A great way to close the franchise.

I believe their rights expire soon but from what I've heard the owner of the film is hard to deal with, and wants full control over its release. It's the reason many companies turned down releasing it including Synapse, and Code Red said they didn't have much say in the way it was released.

You are not the first to say that. I need to give the series another viewing as it has been a few years. I'm hoping Anchor Bay will smarten up and release the rest on Bluray. I'm giving them until Oct., then I will just watch what I have. It been tough not watching Scream's Phantasm 2 every time I go to my shelves.

Cliff, just wanted to say thank you for the awesome job you and Scream Factory are doing with these titles. Thank you for pricing your titles fairly and for making them available in numbers that assure anyone who wants one will be able to get them. Keep up the great work.

If they care that little, they could release 3 and 4 as a double feature and give the first to Criterion. I feel that it is moody and atmospheric enough...

Or, hell, have them agree to a deal with Shout! Then, we could get blus of Silent Night, Deadly Night, Phantasm, etc.

I'm preordering Lifeforce and The Fog and was wondering if the posters will ship out with the other items in my order (non preorders) or with their respective releases?

I second this. After what other companies are pulling it makes you appreciate what Scream is doing even more. Scream really knows how to take care of its fans and for that I thank you too.

If you guys do release Army of Darkness, would it be possible to get the second alternate ending from Sam Raimi? I once heard an effects man talk about it along with the plan for the 4th film (from 1993), The Future Dead, a sequel to the alternate ending that we know and love. The guy is pretty funny. If you want to hear his stories, search for the podcast Lost in the Static Episodes 35, 50, and I think 66.

Yes, i saw the announcement. I applaud his choice of packaging. I love a good steelbook, but I don't think I can afford them
