Check out the new blood-red key art for our upcoming Blu-ray set of THE AMITYVILLE HORROR TRILOGY designed by artist James Rheem Davis. Films in the set will include The Amityville Horror, Amityville II: The Possession and Amityville 3D (in 2D and Blu-ray 3D presentation for the first time)

This art will be on the slipcase. Although we can't show you them yet, the plan is to have the original theatrical key art for each of the film on the three separate blu-ray cases that will be inside of the case. We'll share those later.

Look for more details on extras and exact street date later on this Summer.

Your mention of Cannon films reminded me of Hooper's remake of "Invaders From Mars". Seems like a good title for Scream if they could get it. Is it with MGM still?

Since it seems like we'll be hearing more titles from the Universal deal around Comic-Con time, I'm thinking today's announcement could be somewhere from the MGM / Cannon camp. Perhaps "Without Warning"?

Final Exam was an average slasher, it was slow and the kills weren't creative but New Years Evil just has a certain charm to it for me. Maybe it's just Nostalgic.

I would say, if it is Universal, it's probably, well anything, so my guess is Shocker.

I would say Rollercoaster but I think IF they got it, it'd be a Shout title possibly.

MGM, I'd say Without Warning, and if FOX, I'd say Phantom of the Paradise...

Could be anything at this point, they have multiple indie deals in the works on top of their major studios.

That's my biggest problem lol
I like forum discussions (except when some schmo wants to instigate a worthless argument) , it keeps my mind occupied at a time where after all the hardships I went through last year, has been a huge help

I love slashers, and I even write (wrote) a column on them specifically. I think Final Exam is so insanely original and very underrated. It wasn't a copy-cat slasher, it went for something different and I think it accomplished its goal.

Its a masterpiece of the Slasher genre, especially when you compare it to other entries like Disconnected, Death Screams, and many others that fell through the cracks. At least Final Exam is relevant enough to talk about how "bad" it is.

I don't like New Year's Evil, but I'd buy it since I collect slashers.

Invaders From Mars, I would pick up as well since I never got the Midnite Movies DVD. I would think it's still with MGM and definitely a good candidate for Scream Factory.

I have also advocated for WITHOUT WARNING on several forums, just not as fervently as dsman71 . I sincerely believe that it's one of those big cult titles that many people are aware of and could become a top seller. It's not a great movie, not by a long shot, but it's definitely on people's subconscious. I also think this would be better suited as a standalone release as opposed to part of a four-pack. There's some great original art that should take up all of the cover space
