They Live has 1146 users who claim to have it in their collection.

The Vampire Lovers is in 218 collections.

Granted, They Live has been available much longer, I think this is an interesting fact.

I'm really hoping there is a "SENTINEL" Blu release in the near future. All those stars in it, the classy New York locations, the Dick Smith gore and makeup effects, that mid 70s summer grooviness. The classic nose "slice off" scene, Beverly D'Angelo pleasuring herself in front of a shocked Christina Raines, a Guido looking Chris Sarandon. The mad nightmare nude birthday party. The weird clanging and swinging chandeliers. Gil Melle's bizarre score. Discovering a young Jeff Goldblum, Christopher Walkin, Deborah Raffin Tom Berenger and D'Angelo for the first time, as well as seeing seasoned pros like Ava Gardner, John Carradine, Eli Wallach, Jerry Orbach, Martin Balsam, Jose Ferrer, Arthur Kennedy, Sylvia Miles, William Hickey, Fred Stuthman, Tresa Hughes and Gary Allen slumming through this ghoulish monstrosity. Who can resist Burgess Meredith popping up as kooky Charles Chazen with his cat and canary. Even Michael Winner's sometimes wooden, direction and editing doesn't detract from the stark, lurid, garish creepiness that throws the audience off balance in such an effective manner. This quick and dirty little horror yarn from 1977 still fascinates after all these years.

For anyone who's up, Night of the Comet is on TCM right now!
And Poltergeist is coming on later, as well as The Beast from the Haunted Cave, Motel Hell, and Psyhco.
Lots of creepy movies on tv tonight.

I didn't. I watched it and thought it was trashy AND boring. In fact, I thought it was undeservedly considered as some cult classic

It could also mean They Live is "more popular" / more mainstream ...It could be Vampire Lovers isnt high on the totem poll for users here or people are waiting for a sale...but its been out since April ..
It is an interesting fact...I wonder how they are in the Amazon Top 100...I remember Vampire Circus was # 1 (or close to it once upon a time)

Here is a question. What are the five horror films that bored you the most?
Mine:
Halloween H20
The Bride
Howling 3 (I stopped after this one.)
Bubba Ho-Tep
Freddy's Dead

Whoa, I loved this movie. You're definitely entitled to your opinion but perhaps you could consider trying it out again, from the POV of it being not so much a creature feature, more as a reflection on the fear of growing old and being neglected / forgotten. Bruce Campbell's performance is equal parts humor and poignancy, one of his best IMO.

I've said it before, but it just wasn't for me. I might rewatch it, but not anytime soon.

Yeah. I'm doing the same with Halloween 3 and From Beyond.

I think no matter how you feel about them any of the Carpenter titles will sell well and is a good investment for Scream. I want Scream to do well so you need the Carpenter titles to be able to get the lesser known or desired titles on Scream as well.

I think Village of the Damned, Vampires, Ghost of Mars etc.. though probably among Carpenter's worst are still better than many others best...I say bring all you can get.
