What titles do you think Scream would choose if they had a deal with Sony. No R1 blu rays can exist already.

Ideas:
Fright Night II
Vampires
Ghostbusters 2
Piranha 2

Fright Night Part 2 has also been played on Cinemax HD. That does not mean that Scream Factory has it. It has been denied many times, including twice a week ago.

The argument is flimsy, though. Tomorrow, Prince of Darkness is on after Shrek 2. That's like thinking that Shout! might release Shrek 2.

Cliff,
You say that Night of the Comet will be released late in 2013. Although I, personally, would love to have it next week, I think that you should wait until December as it is a Christmas movie of sorts.

They are spreading out the Collector's Editions.

based on the release calendar estimations, I would say it probably goes like this:

OCT
Amityville Horror Set
Vincent Price Set
Prince of Darkness

NOV
Night of the Comet
Body Bags
Horror Show
Cockney's Vs Zombies

DEC
Psycho II
Psycho III
Crawlspace
The Beast Within

This is just my guess of course.
Based on them saying which ones would be Fall (oct.), Late Fall (nov.), and Late 2013 (dec.)

Cliff mentioned in another thread, or possibly FB, about a week ago, that they were considering re-releasing Visiting Hours / Bad Dreams on blu-ray.

I just wish they would reconsider the Slumberparty Massacre Collection.
They can't look any worse in HD, and they have a ton of fans.

I am eagerly awaiting the double feature of Bad Dreams and Visiting Hours, if he did indeed confirm it.

Would also be a Day 1 for me on the Slumberparty Massacre films.
Fantastic series. Imo.

Has Cliff said anything about these films? I seem to recall that he did but I'm not sure. I watched the trailer to the first one the other day on Scream's page and it looked entertaining. I would be all for it.

There are no HD transfer for the three Slumber Party movies. There are HD transfers for VH/BD.
Slumber won't sell enough units to pay for three HD transfers. Sorry.

Thanks for the info. Is it possible we'll see them as DVD extras for some films in the future?

I would buy it and then slide my disc of the other 2 on dvd in a 2-disc case.

That would suffice. But the 1st slumber party massacre is the best.

Why they're already on Special Edition DVD from Shout Factory.

I think it would be kinda pointless to release them with other movies.
Or even the Howling films for that matter as someone else posted below.
Why would they split up movies and shuffle them out as bonus films on perfectly fine Blu-Ray releases that will sell loads on their own anyway.

Most Horror Collectors buying these newer release already own most of their cult titles on DVD any way. I don't think it would sway them to get their unrelated films on a completely different format.

But I'd double dip for a BD in the future regardless, if they ever did change their mind. (:

I'm pretty sure they said they didn't have an HD transfer for this one.

As far as I know, Image has the rights. I may be wrong though.
