Lord of Illusions; talk about an overlooked gem and it seems like it'd be in line with the Scream Factory's status quo. Any chance for a Lord of Illusions blu-ray?!?

Someone once posted link to a database containing movie rights ownership but damned if I can find it...

Clive Barker always seems to be pretty open about discussing his work too so if that was to happen...hopefully Scream would be able to involve him with the release. I don't remember this one being shot down yet...

Cliff, is there any way that you guys can get the rights to Hellbound: Hellraiser II and dig up the two infamous cut scenes: Pinhead dressed as a surgeon and Chatterer chasing Kirsty to the elevator? Please?

LOL No, I personally don't really get into commentaries that much. However, the interviews and bonus features I have seen him involved with in the past were interesting. Plus, he's pretty public about his work and posts a bunch of random stuff on Facebook all the time - so I figured it would be easy enough to get him involved with a BR of Lords.

I was more thinking more along the lines of having one of Scream's excellent bonus interviews/documentaries involving him.

It was just like William Friedkin's commentary on the extended edition of The Exorcist. Discribed the movie the whole time like the viewer was blind or something. He must of just not been feeling it that day. I usually prefer commentary tracks with 2 people so they can have an actual conversation about the film. Then there are the masters of commentaries that you can listen to for hours.

I'd be totally down for Lord of Illusions. For some reason, parts of that film had me really creeped out in the theatre.

Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II are both with Lakeshore / Image.
So, no. Image's rights will not expire for quite a few years.

So please read it next time. And if you want to make a serious list of actually possible titles be my guest, but there is a SHOUT / SCREAM WISHLIST THREAD for the other kind. As in not Universal / MGM / FOX or any smaller company that have deals with, or actual solid speculation.

Is this a positive but not definitive response from Cliff implying that he is also a Lord of Illusions fan? If we don't get a Lord of Illusions blu-ray from Scream Factory at least we have further confirmation Cliff's got good taste.
