In fact, I could see Criterion doing a blu-ray on this one.
Definitely won't be seeing The Ninth Configuration from Shout or Criterion--as it's another WB title. The Blob '88 is Sony, so Twilight Time is a possibility.

These are MGM horror/sci-fi movies (focused on '70s/'80s mostly), just so peeps know:

After Midnight
Amityville II/3-D
The Believers (1987)
Blacula/Scream, Blacula, Scream
Breeders
The Brood
The Burning
Burnt Offerings
The Curse/Curse 2
The Dark Half
Dolls
Edge of Sanity
The First Power
The Fog
Frogs
From a Whisper to a Scream
From Beyond
Ghoulies/Ghoulies II
The Horror Show (1989)
Hospital Massacre
The House Where Evil Dwells
The Howling
Howling II
I, Madman
Jennifer (1978)
Lady in White
Leviathan
Lifeforce
Lord of Illusions
Monkey Shines
Needful Things
New Year's Evil
Night of the Comet
Night Visitor
Once Bitten
The Phantom of the Opera (1989)
Poltergeist III
Prom Night II
Pumpkinhead
Raw Meat
Scanners
Scarecrows
Squirm
Swamp Thing
Too Scared to Scream (1985)
Troll
The Town that Dreaded Sundown
Vampire's Kiss
The Video Dead

Almost the entire Midnite Movies line (with the exception of a few that are 20th Century Fox): The Beast Within, Count Yorga, Vampire, Motel Hell, Strange Invaders, etc.

MGM also has many unreleased titles from Empire Pictures: Cellar Dweller, Prison, TerrorVision, etc.

I didn't include the movies MGM has already released on BD:

The Amityville Horror '79
Blow Out (Criterion)
Carrie
Child's Play
Dressed to Kill
Invasion of the Body Snatchers '78
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
The Last House on the Left '72
Misery
Poltergeist II
The Return of the Living Dead
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
Troll 2

I pre ordered just now from Amazon. 10 bucks cheaper than going straight to the source....was intrigued by the poster....but just couldn't justify it in my mind

If it was full size, that would be different!

The Fog is a good choice...

The Burning? I'd take it! Much prefer the series it ripped off (won't be coming from Shout though).

I would also buy Prom Night 2!

I'd like Death Becomes Her with Goldie Hawn but I don't know if that Zemeckis title would come from Shout or Universal itself.

Don't forget the first one with a new transfer (a collection of the 4 films and tv series would be perfect).

Another (though unlikely) candidate for Scream would be the Godzilla films (though I think they work better under the Shout! label).

I'm stunned that Death Becomes Her has gotten no love...it wasn't even released in widescreen on DVD! Long, long overdue for a beautiful blu...

I might be in the minority here but I'd love to see a special edition BD of Poltergeist III. I'm not sure why I like it but I do and maybe with Cliff on the case he can find some of the original end sequence elements.

TT doesn't have a licensing agreement with MGM.Therefore,The Fog is not an option for them.

Maybe they meant The Fog remake? Sony owns that.

Though I have no idea why anyone would be interested in that train-wreck.
