Not sure why The Howling was sent separate but I'm not complaining

I have a question on ordering directly from Shout.

I ordered over $100 worth of stuff from them that included two preorders (all Scream stuff). My order confirmation said I had to pay $11.99 shipping. I was charged $83.xx for the non preorder items and one of my pre order items has created a pending charge of $26.xx on my credit card. It seems like I'm being charged for each item being shipped and that is going to have me pay about double of what it said on my order confirmation. Is this how Shout does it? I sent an email to them about it but was hoping I could get a quicker response here. Thanks.

What will the disc ordering be on the Price Collection?
I assume it'll be:
Abominable Dr. Phibes
Witchfinder General
Masque of the Red Death / Pit and the Pendulum
House of Usher / Haunted Palace

Already? That is super early. I didn't think these would be out until next Tuesday.
I know I'm looking forward to receiving them.

Witchfinder General/The Conqueror Worm. Other than that, I think you've got it. And then special features will either be split over the four discs or put on the disc that only has one film on it.

Receiving Lifeforce an entire week early is a major exception - I've pre-ordered every single CE from Scream, and none has arrived earlier than the Saturday before release date.

I'd attribute that to the fact that it was supposed to be out in April.

I didn't count those together because they are just alternate cuts of the same movie.

House of Usher (1960) / Pit and the Pendulum (1961)
The Haunted Palace (1963) / Masque of Red Death (1964)
Witchfinder General (1968) / Conqueror Worm (1968)
The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971)

It makes the most sense to double feature the Corman / Poe films since some of the special features may apply to those films collectively rather than individually. I also suspect they will be in order. (Edit: I also wouldn't be surprised if the made for TV special, An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe (1970), makes an appearance as an SD extra. on one of the Corman / Poe discs.)

I also suspect Witchfinder / Conqueror may be two wholly separate transfers rather than one transfer with seamless branching, thereby necessitating Phibes be on it's own disc.

I kinda hope that they'll come out of left field when they announce the Price extras. I'd die if they said, Dr. Phibes Rises Again would be a previously-unannounced bonus to the set, being on the same disc as the first.

That's why it'd be perfect! It just strikes me as odd that MGM would give them the first film, which was at TGG, but not the second.

Unless the second was being saved for a potential second Price box. I really don't think they're going to announce another whole Price movie as an extra.

Maybe not always, but I have noticed that every single Disney BD they have in store appears to be slip-less

I remember a while back when this set was first announced Cliff hinted at a second box if the first sold well, when someone asked about the 2nd Phibes film.

Right, but that was more of a hope (not in a negative way, just wait and see).

Actually, the guy advised me to complain to B&N and make a return -- but I'm not going to be a dick about it. It's not like "missing slipcover" is a valid excuse to return an item. If it comes with one, well that's just gravy.

You should be a motivational speaker... I was planning on returning Videodrome to Best Buy, but now I won't.
There was a small almost un-noticeable crease in the slipcase... I could care less about most, but omfg its a Criterion movie that costed me 40 bucks.

(okay 35, and really just 20 cuz of the sale)
