Yeah, I checked Facebook. Still nothing. Tons of guesses posted, but nothing really sticks out from the titles already mentioned by the peeps here. Also, I'm assuming they're both going to be horror titles, since Scream Factory is making the announcement.

abintra: Good guess with DeepStar Six. I totally forgot about that one.

Holy crap! Does that mean they have a deal with MGM, or what? The Nest is another Roger Corman title, previously released by New Concorde.

TerrorVision...damn, that's pretty exciting.

Excellent, been waiting for Terrorvision for years. That must mean MGM....Hopefully they'll be announcements for Town That Dreaded Sundown, Video Dead, The Evictors and Cellar Dweller over the next months. I wondered why The Nest had never been released by Shout in their Roger Corman's Classics line. I guess this answers my question.

Perhaps but I'm more interested in getting stuff unreleased on DVD out first.

Awesome news! "TerrorVision" basically seals the deal that more MGM titles will happen in the future I'm sure. Having never seen "The Nest" yet, I'm stoked to be able to finally own and see it in widescreen. Excellent additions to an already great library of titles. My hat goes off to, Cliff. I'm pretty confident "TerrorVision" will get a Blu-ray release as for "The Nest", it could go either way. Nonetheless, both of these titles will be pre-ordered when the time comes.

I would imagine on the evidence of things so far that no release will be DVD only - you'll either have the major, collector editions which have separate Blu-ray and DVD versions (Halloweens, Funhouse, They Live, etc), or the titles with fewer extras that have Blu-ray/DVD combo packs (The Island, Death Valley). As even these don't seem to be getting separate DVD releases I can't see any title being released solely on DVD.

Just thinking... If "The Nest", which is a New Concorde title, is coming out could it be possible that the "Sorority House Massacre" flicks and "Summer Camp Nightmare" could be future additions to Scream Factory or were the rights to those movies sold off? Last I recall I thought Corman still owned the "Sorority House Massacre" films. But, wasn't "Summer Camp Nightmare" announced a few years back from some random company but the release never actually came to fruition.

Haven't seen these but any horror movies on bd is a good thing in my book. Will buy these. Hopefully they will tell us what studio they have a deal with.

Since the new sub-licensor is MGM, I got a few horror requests:

-House III: The Horror Show
-New Year's Evil
-Exterminator 2
-Scanners
-The Video Dead
-Sleepaway Camp 2
-Sleepaway Camp 3
-Manhunter

Cliff, are non-horror titles also included in the MGM deal?

If it is a deal with MGM, and it seems like it is--I think we can rule out most of the big name titles (because Shout/Scream would surely announce one of their biggest "properties" first, right?). Movies like The Howling, The Fog, Pumpkinhead, Lifeforce, even titles such as From Beyond and The Burning--these are probably not going to Shout/Scream Factory.

So, what's next? The Video Dead, Prison (1988), Cellar Dweller, The Town that Dreaded Sundown??!?

I support all your suggestions especially "New Year's Evil". Such an underrated slasher that needs a beefed out Blu-ray to make up for MGM just lumping it into MOD hell. To be fair, the film looked good on the MOD release but the film certainly deserves more than just a release like that.
